Review titled Poor practice
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 04 March 2025
Not organised enough and poor communication within the team which makes everything more difficult for patients. Unprofessional Doctor on communication and no empathy for patients. Verbally aggressive and making me feel so uncomfortable to see her again. Not listening to patients needs. So disappointed how I was treated as a patient.

Review titled Patronising and condescending Nurse
Rated 3 stars out of 5
by Ruth Wash rook - Posted on 05 February 2025
I very surprisingly got a face to face appointment today with gp. I was asked to make an appt for blood test, there had been a cancellation so I got one on same day. The nurse assisted me without checking I wanted assistance. I was told I could put my jacket on couch, I kept it on my knee, for it to be taken away to put on couch. I was then twisted into a very uncomfortable position to make my L arm available for blood test- for nurse's convenience only without any consideration for my comfort, considering my arthritis. Nurse took blood, discussed urine sample and said she'd give me a bottle, told her I'd been given this by gp earlier only for her to repeat she'd give me a bottle repeated that I'd got a bottle already. Nurse then wanted to take my blood pressure and got cuff ready, told her I'd already had that done today. As I was leaving the room the nurse said 'thank you dear' J pointed out as I passed her that I was not her dear. This nurse showed that she has an inability to check the information on her screen as to what she actually needs to do, so she does not repeat tests that have already been done. She also needs to stop being patronising and condescending in her manner and speech to patients. She also needs to bear in mind that if you say you can put your jacket in a particular place and ghe patient decides not to do this, that the patient may have a specific reason for this. For my jacket then to be taken off my lap to put on the couch without my permission is being overlycontrolling and is I going inappropriate in the extreme. I was very glad to get out of the surgery after that and will in future go to the drop jn in willesden to avoid this obnoxious person. She reminded me of the condescending attitudes that used to be in evidence about 20 years ago and thankfully have been worked on. This nurse I think was being assessed during this visit so I would also aim some ofthis critical at her assessor on that day who did not introduce herself but was the person who snatched my jacket off my lap. I reckon you have a lot of things to improve just from this one appointment. Certainly your receptionists have improved vastly from a few years ago pre Covid. You need to get back go more face to face appointments rather than the offhand phone ones that are the norm since way before Covid unfortunately at this surgery.

Hi dear sir madam My appointment was on 13/12/2024 at 4:30pm and they called me at 19:20 pm after practice closed and left voice mail asking me to call and book another appointment, how come you called me after your opening hours and blaming me of not answering as I missed the call because I didn’t expect a call after closing hours so always I suffer when trying to book another appointment, my actual GP is Neasden medical centre which is perfect and always deliver good service but all the time I got appointments at green hill medical centre which I don’t like to get treated because of lacking of the service and the only one doctor there not helping at all ,thanks

Review titled Terrible service

I need to change my medication urgently. I have been trying for over a month. I get told to call back the next morning because the rota is not out and when I do call, there are no appointments available. When a telephone appointment is offered I have specified the times I am available to take the calls, but I am not called at the times requested. This is important as I am on clinic myself and am unable to stop everything to answer the phone. I have explained this to the receptionists and to the clinician but my requests are ignored! My blood pressure goes down quite often, I have had the blood tests, so now I need to change my medication including my HRT. This is urgent, I am concerned about my health and it is affecting my day to day activities and work. Please change your system. It is ridiculous I have been trying to sort this out for over 1 month. I just need confirmation of a new prescription. Why is this so difficult!

Dear Patient, Thank you for taking the time to bring your concerns forward. We are sorry to hear that you have had these experiences of not being able to get an appointment when requested or not receiving the call from one of our clinicians when you had expected. I must mention that our appointments are usually within a 2-3 hour window which could mean the clinician will call you earlier of later than your appointment time depending on the schedule. We do understand that this can be very frustrating for our patients We would like to look into this further on a more personal level and would appreciate if you would email us at nhsnwl.standrewsmp@nhs.net and providing your full name and date of birth or by calling us on 02082080306 / 02084597755. We look forward to hearing from you soon so we can help you find a resolution. All the best, Neasden and Greenhill Medical Centre Team

Review titled Bad

I registered last month at Neasden Medical Centre, I filled out the form, a few days later I went to tell them that I was pregnant and how I should proceed, they couldn't find my pregnancy form, they made an appointment for a pap smear. being pregnant, they made me an appointment for a boold test, they said that I called and made the appointment, but I didn't call, if they found my form, they saw that I was pregnant and they didn't schedule me for the pap smear, and the worst thing bothered me when I saw that my nationality was passed as gypsy/Romanian, when I only filled out the Romanian form, it's not correct, I'll sign up for another GP, I don't recommend it.

Review titled Worst practice ever
Rated 1 star out of 5

They do not care of their patients. I had an appointment on the 5th July. They give you appointments and they do not respect the appointment time, they are calling or 2h before or 2h after the app time. Horrible. Why do they give an appointment if they do not respect the schedule?! We are busy mums we can’t hold the phone all day long waiting for their call. So sorry to be registered with this practice. I don’t recommend it.
