I am a Cardio patient who spent five months in a hospital. I had triple bypass surgery and then died twice for a total of twelve minutes; my kidneys failed and I had to be put on dialysis. For the past two weeks, I have been at home and for the past few days my GP has refused to prescribe painkillers for pain caused by a pump I have to wear which removes bacteria from the sternum and detritus. I have to go to the hospital at St Bart's once a week via patient transport as I am still very weak. The GP is refusing to provide any medication until I am strong enough to have a face-to-face appointment. This will be impossible for a few weeks as I am trying to get stronger. The hospital sent ten sides of notes to this practice with a complete breakdown of my health and needs. Whatever happened to the needs of the patient come first? I must now suffer pain unnecessarily.

The female receptionist is rude and patronising. As someone with depression and anxiety which the receptionist was aware of, the receptionist is insensitive and needs training.

After moving into Haringey and having 3 really bad experiences with the previous practice I’d registered with I’m so happy I joined St Ann’s surgery. I could tell straight away from the receptionist answering the phone it was going to be a better experience. The receptionist was really lovely and helpful. I managed to get a same day appointment on my very first visit.

I phoned the surgery to chase a test result, and it took 1 hour and 41 minutes. Is there a GP's surgery worse than this one? I hope not, because if there is, then it must be terrible.

My experience to sort out repeat prescription was very straightforward. The person I spoke with was very helpful and polite. The App just needs to properly update. Waiting over the phone was a lot better that most of the other surgeries I attended.

I have been with St Anns Road Surgery since 2010. And until this year have had no issues with them. But in the last year they have shown total disrespect to patients. The app they use is answered by Admin staff with no medical experience, who then refuse to respond to emails. I sent an email fao doctor but received a response from system telling me only prescription emails are accepted, not on the Web site. This practice has good doctorss, but terrible admin. If the admin passed on messages to doctors it would be a help, but they don't. I am a copd Emphysema and hypertrophic cardiomyapathy heart patient, and need to be in contact with doctor. Admin appear to block questions for doctors most times. I am seriously considering changing surgeries. If I can find a good one in north London.

terrible attendance. I went there to make an appointment with a man at reception and when I went on the scheduled date, to my surprise, there was no appointment. I had to stop working to go to the GP and not be attended to. Confused attendants

I rang the surgery and got though and booked an appointment and saw the doctor the same day. St Ann's Surgery has always been a very good surgery.

Want to St.Annes Surgery recently about a throat infection. The receptionist was very professional and I went to see the doctor and was prescribed some medicine which I took. My throat cleared up straight away and I would definitely recommend this surgery.
