    I had an infection in my finger last August. Response- take a picture, cream 2weeks. Infection starts to spread- take a picture, cream. This ‘take a picture’ has continued for 6 months. I have never seen a doctor. The infection is now on both hands, left arm, both ankles and now my eyes and tongue! It’s almost like they refuse to see me.

    I wanted an appointment to see a Doc, but didn't want to request this online (it didn't go very smoothly the last time I did this), so I called in at The Hub, and requested to see a Doctor. I was told that I would be called back that day. I was called back within the hour, and then given an appointment to call in within an hour. Very impressed! I was seen, and offered the chance to give every sample possible, which I was happy to do obviously. One sample came back with some adverse results, and was given a follow up appointment, then a referral for a colonoscopy. I was advised that the referral had been submitted the next day by text, and I was then called the following day to book me in the next week!! I can't ask for better service when there might be a need. Very impressed! Oh, and I have another referral appointment for an ultrasound scan in another week or so. When you are in need, the NHS is brilliant. Additionally, the staff at the Hub, and then at the Royal Cornwall Hospital at Treliske were superb. Thank you very much.
