  1. Review titled The nurse on sight is an absolute angel

Rated 5 stars out of 5

I went in today to have a Pap smear done, it was my first time and I was nervous about it because I have chronic pain and the use of the speculum usually makes my back feel really bad, I’ve also heard horror stories about the procedure and was not looking forward to it. The nurse was reassuring from the second I walked through the door, she was calm and comforting and made sure I was comfortable the whole time. She took interest in me and made me feel at ease, and spoke to me throughout the whole procedure. I can’t believe I can say this, but I didn’t feel a thing, I closed my eyes and it was done. My back feels absolutely fine and there was no pain or discomfort throughout. This is the type of care that makes you feel good and heard. Everyone in the GP is equally nice and caring but today she was an absolute star and made something that can be quite traumatic into a comfortable procedure. I couldn’t thank her enough

  2. Review titled Very helpful nurse

Rated 4 stars out of 5

I had to visit clinic for a routine smear test. Smear tests had been difficult in the past. Nurse today informed me at all times what she was doing, also listened to my coments about previous problems. She took onboard my previous problems and was able to complete test with as little discomfort as possible.

  3. Review titled Excellent care

Rated 5 stars out of 5

I visited my practice with concerns over a mole. I was initially assessed by an Advanced Nurse Practitioner who referred me to a GP. A follow up appointment was offered promptly and an assessment was given. The GP was thorough in their examination and referred in for advice from a dermatologist. The next day I received a telephone call from the GP who advised further photographs needed to be taken. This was followed up with a telephone call from a member of the admin team arranging another appointment. I attended that appointment today and again a thorough examination was given. The GP took all necessary photos and said they would be submitted to the dermatologist. I received an email later that afternoon with the reassuring news that it was not of concern. The care and reassurance from Advanced Nurse Practitioner and the care, reassurance and extremely prompt action by the GP was second to none. I should add that all of the admin team are kind, polite, friendly and helpful. The whole practice are supportive and welcoming to patients and I would have no hesitation in recommending them.
