Review titled Excellent practice yet again
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Helen Fowler - Posted on 04 August 2023
I am leaving a second review because I cannot fault the care, professionalism or genuine empathy that I have experienced from your practice nurse. I have worked in the nhs for 20 yrs and their conduct and care is second to none. A huge thank you to you, it is so greatly appreciated and I know you won’t rest until you’ve resolved my current issues for me. I’m so pleased that I am now under the care of St John’s whilst also appreciating your demanding workloads - I never have a problem obtaining an appointment when required. Thank you!

Review titled Excellent service
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Helen Fowler - Posted on 30 May 2023
Extremely helpful and efficient admin team. Given same day appt. Seen on time, by professional, empathetic ANP who dealt with my issue and concerns fully. Did not rush me for time and reassured me whilst treating my problem. Prescriptions given and collected within 5 mins from onsite pharmacy. I had an excellent and very positive experience. Thank you all at St John’s Surgery.

Review titled Good thing there wasn't an actual fire
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 27 April 2023
Arrived early for my appointment today to find both receptionists wearing hi-vis vests but neither of them behind the checking in counter (machine to do this was out of order) so they both ignored me and continued about their business. All became clear when a fire alarm began to sound and we were all ushered outside. The staff obviously knew where the assembly point was and about 5 minutes after they had filed out we were beckoned over by another woman in a high vis jacket. When they had called the names of all the staff we were allowed back inside. A patient spoke to one of the fire marshals to point out that none of the patients had been counted and was told very abruptly that they had been. Bearing in mind at this point I had still not been checked in and my name was definitely not called and a further 4 patients had begun to queue outside the surgery whilst the test was being carried out. There is always a wait when attending for an appointment here and I imagine today will be even longer due to the fire test delay but honestly if there ever is an actual fire here then I hope for everyone's sake they have seriously reviewed their fire safety training before then.
