I have been told today that this practice has a policy of only one appointment per household. My grandparents are both over 80 years old, suffer with multiple illnesses (including COPD) and one of them has been refused a GP appointment today even though they are both ill at the moment. - Does the practice have available appointments? Yes, the receptionist confirmed they had telephone appointments left. - Can my nan and grandad, who are both ill, get an appointment each? No. I was told 1 per household (and only 1 patient can be spoken to in said appointment) and I was asked 'who is more ill?' and to 'ring 999'. What a ridiculous and dangerous policy to have. Very unapologetic staff with little compassion.

I have an ongoing illness this past year and the staff at the surgery have supported me so much. I have been given good advice and also being able to see the Physiotherapist in my own surgery has been so helpful and it's much easier to get an appointment with him than it was when I had to book at the hospital. Thank you
