    Last November I became unwell and was seen for a throat infection. I can't praise the practise enough for their quick response to see me when I really needed to be seen. The care from my GP and the nurses has been prompt, professional, supportive and caring in what can be a frightening time. My experience at St Pauls surgery has always been of a high standard, which must be going on for 20 years now. Thankyou all.

    First reported complaint Jan 9. Sent to offsite GP, then referred to blood tests. Only offered telephone response to blood tests, (10 days after the results were received( in the meanwhile condition deteriorated rapidly, to point where I am not capable of walking my daughter to school, but told by receptionist I can't have a face to face appointment until after phone appointment. All f2f appointments need "telephone Triage" which they won't schedule, so if you have children who are not ill but need a medical condition managed they need to take up to the whole day off while you wait for a call. Appallingly inaccessible.

    Simple and straightforward check in, excellent consultation and very happy with the service. I rarely see the GP but was very impressed with the great service provided.

    Although I think the role of nurse/practitioner is to be accepted , I do hope that the Doctor/Patient relationship will not be discarded entirely. Does the NP have to report to the patients Doctor in every case the problem and medication prescribed?

    I was with this practice while at university. Staff would go above and beyond to help and to make you feel seen as a person as opposed to one of many patients- my GP, and front desk staff were all especially supportive and helpful in every interaction I had with them. Would reccomend St Paul's to anyone living in or moving to Winchester! Proffessional and supportive staff and a good appointment booking system.

    I’m leaving this review to simply acknowledge the amazing and wonderful receptionist at St Paul’s surgery. On the two occasions she has assisted me, she has gone above and beyond in helping me and making my visit one of pleasure. Not only did she deal with my request, but she listened to my questions and tended to them all. So I’m writing this review to let herself and others know that she’s fantastic at her remit and I’d like to say a big ‘Thank you’ Thanks to this receptionist I got to see my favourite Doctor, whom is also extremely helpful and understanding. Thank you! Rob S

    I have nothing but praise for this surgery. This time a totally appropriate phone appt resulted in a prescription and then 1 week later a letter from the hospital to book a consultant referral. I am certain that I would have been seen face to face if it had been necessary. Let's be thankful that St Paul's is still working incredibly hard to give us excellent care, when so many other GP's elsewhere in the country are really struggling. Thank you to the whole team

    My husband trying to get appointment for last 6 months and nothing. They always fully booked, you can call in morning and afternoon and still nothing… it’s a disaster not surgery.

It appears that your experience does not fit within our appointment booking process as detailed below: - routine appointments, typically booked via telephone, take place with the appropriate team member within 48 hours of initial contact. - urgent appointments, usually requested via Accurx online, take place with the appropriate team member on the same day as initial contact.
