I was started on a medication for trail and needed more but couldn't order them, they said I had to speak to doctor, but they couldn't give me an appointment for 3 weeks after my meds run out, I was in a very bad way on phone as these were my depression tablets. They showed no empathy, didn't care that I would be without them, was told to ring at 8 each morning until I got an appointment or 111 When you do actually speak to a doctor they are great, but it's getting past the receptionist that's the problem

I would just like to say an enormous thank you to the absolutely wonderful nursing staff at the practice who have been regularly dressing my scalp wound since a lesion was removed at Lister.They could not have been kinder,more caring or more professional.Truly exceptional people.Please pass on my sincere thanks.

I recently had a serious reoccurrence of my medical condition, I was in a great deal of pain and the doctors at Stanmore were excellent in helping me with this. Also, in assisting me with a referral I recently needed to hospital. I have received really good care and would like to say thank you.

I called at 09:05am on the 8/3/23 and a female receptionist responded. I asked for a copy of my blood tests and soon after she got my personal information she accessed the system and confirmed that my results are normal. I continued that l would like a copy and she suggested to come by the surgery. I then tried to ask another enquiry,l got interrupted and she raised her voice to me. She continued to talk over my voice raising her voice and she then said " sorry to interrupt but we do not discuss any blood test details.l replied that my enquiry is not related to the blood test but she would not let me finish and put the phone down on my face saying that they do not discuss any details over the phone. This is unacceptable and simply rude. As a patient , l would expect at least my enquiry to be heard rather to be spoken like that when l m not rude myself.

When i first joined the sugery it was brillaint , now its poor im even thinking of change practices , nearly an hour on the phone to be told ring 111 digusting,cant book appointment online every unhelpful doctors and the goverment need to sort your problems out

How can I meet with my GP so that he can diagnose and prescribe urgent treatment for me? Unfortunately, all my attempts to call to Stanmore Medical Group and book an appointment with GP were unsuccessful, nobody has answered me. I called since 8 to 9 am every morning on the 18th, 19th, 20th of January. I would like to visit GP, who I know, trust and prefer to visit.

It is hard to believe how terrible the service offered by this organisation is. I thought that Covid-19 is nowhere near the problem it once was so when can we go back to some sort of normality regarding GPs? Trying to get an appointment is ridiculous. I haven't seen a GP for almost 3 years and have had to go private. As for the website and computer systems available for patients, they are incredibly confusing. The worst thing of all is that there is no communication from the organisation to explain what is going on and why things are not back to normal and when they might be. The service provided is what you would expect from a public service where they don't have to work to gain and keep customers - they simply don't care. If it was a private company, they would have to do much better otherwise they would go bust.

I booked an appointment for my son today our appointment time was 8.50 we have and a still are in the waiting room waiting to be seen at 10.28 I don’t think it’s acceptable to keep a poorly 5 year old waiting this long each time we’ve spoken to the receptionist she’s told me we are next to go in but others are being called in before us. My last two experiences with this surgery haven’t been great as the last time I called up I was rudely spoken down to on the telephone from the receptionist assuming something that she was not medically trained to do
