Review titled Excellent Service
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 15 June 2023
Compared to other GP surgeries it is much easier to get appointments at Star Lane Medical Centre. For example one morning I completed the on - line form and received a message soon after offering me a choice of face - to - face appointments that same afternoon! On other occasions after filling - in the form I have received a phone appointment and sometimes the doctor has then offered me a face - to - face appointment. If a patient has tech problems you simply phone the surgery and a receptionist will fill - out the form for you.

Review titled Great experience
Rated 4 stars out of 5

I had enough time to discuss the case with the GP and they examined me and explained the case in a very good way. Also tried to book me an appointment with the hospital ASAP. Thanks! Another experience happened with my kid, the GP was not sure about the case, so they talked with the hospital and asked us to visit the hospital to check the kid and make sure nothing to worry about. The only thing I'd like they change is the telephone appointment. I really rarely find it helpful and the me or the GP usually ask to have another face to face appointment.

Thank you for sharing your experiences with us. We’re so glad to hear that you felt heard and well-cared for during your visits. It’s great that the GP was able to provide thorough explanations and ensure prompt referrals to the hospital when needed. We also appreciate your feedback regarding telephone appointments. We understand that some situations are better suited for face-to-face interactions and will take this into consideration as we continue to improve our services. Thank you again for your thoughtful input and for trusting us with your care.
