Conscientious and prompt. Telephone answered quickly. The nurses are always polite and try and accommodate you with prompt appointments. All doctors are very accommodating and will not hesitate to spend time with you to ensure a correct diagnosis. This then is backed up with prompt medication when required from the pharmacy

Had an appointment back in January. Was referred to another GP which I’ve waited over 6 months for. To be told that they don’t deal with that issue there and shouldn’t have been referred. I was then given a sheet on what to do. Utterly pointless me waiting 6 months as they couldn’t do what I was told by station road. Waste of my time

Having been a patient at this surgery for over 10 years I have experienced only outstanding care. I recently submitted an online consultation and was given a face to face appointment the same morning. Primary care is a challenging place to be with staff shortages and not enough GP’s being trained but this surgery is still delivering outstanding care! Keep up the good work Station Road Surgery!

Worse doctors and experience I have received. If you are ill and registered here recommended you go straight to A&E or call 111. Not sure why have receptionist as ask you to do online consultations, where you wait over a week for response then tell you go to pharmacy who can’t help, even though you have seen a pharmacist!!! Doctors not interested don’t want to see you and tell you if symptoms get worse just call 111. Wanted some antibiotics for chest infection for my son who was sitting GCSE’s doctor not interested when eventually spoke to one hadn’t even seen my son so how would they know how bad he was, therefore exams taken whilst having bad chesty cough. A soul disgusting behaviour with no care at all for their patients. They might as well save money with not having receptionist and put into more doctors as I have said they only tell you to fill online form!!!!

We are sorry to hear you had a bad experience at the surgery. In this climate of severely high demand on services we do have to ask patients for an idea of their problem so that we can prioritise the more unwell, especially those who are critically ill. This is best done via the online consultation or by allowing the receptionist to ask a few general questions. We understand and empathise with your frustrations. We are trying to improve our services.

I had cause to use the online service having had very concerning health issues one morning. Within 3 hours of posting my concerns I had received a telephone consultation and an urgent hospital appointment was arranged along with advice of how long this could take plus a prescription request sent to my nominated pharmacy. The doctor I spoke to was so kind and reassuring. I would certainly recommend using this service.

I find the staff/Doctors at this practice so efficient and caring. I completed an online form with my concern in the morning of 25/01/2023 and had a prescription waiting for me to collect from the pharmacy, shortly afterwards. Great practice, would highly recommend.

I had a worrying health issue I rang next day and got appointment next day The lady Doctor was very attentive and from then onwards I got speedy tests scans etc and within 6 had a operation I cannot give enough praise to the receptionist Doctor and Calderdale keep up the good work

Having had to contact the surgery numerous times over the last 9 months. I have found the service provided to be excellent. Knowing the phone lines can be busy I have used the online consultation section. This service is quick and easy to use. The surgery response time is fabulous. Fantastic service for people able to use technology. If more of us used this service it would allow better access for patients that need to ring & speak to a member of the practice team. Thank you for all your hard work

You cannot get an appointment at this surgery for any acute problem, or for anything that can wait. There are never any appointments on-line, and when you phone, if you are able to get through in less than an hour, there are never any appointments available. There is one receptionist who is very nice, but one is very unhelpful. If you can use e-consult then that works, but if you have a query, or ongoing problem, then forget it. I think I am going to change practices, which is a shame because when you eventually get to see a Doctor, they are very helpfull.

Day 1. Telephone conversation with polite and professional receptionist. Doctor telephoned back same day. Face to face appointment with the doctor later in the day. Recommended tests at my local hospital. Day 9. Appointment at my hospital and tests carried out. Cannot fault my GP Surgery or my local hospital. A first class service in these difficult times.
