    Have been sceptical about new triage service as previously experienced difficulties in securing an appt that met my work commitments. But today I received exceptional service. Within a short while of submitting online request, was telephoned by friendly Practice staff and offered a same day appt. My appointment with the GP was not only extremely thorough, helpful and reassuring but I also felt fully supported and listened to at all times. Furthermore, the pharmacist and receptionist were all extremely polite and helpful. Thankfully, I do not often require medical assistance from the Practice but today I felt I was really very well looked after so thought it important to share my positive experience with staff.

    I wasn’t sure about the new triage system as I didn’t realise it was available during the day - I thought I had to complete at 8 am ! Having submitted the form I received a text really quickly and picked up my prescription within an hour ! Thank you

    I was skeptical when they moved us over to the eConsult + triage system, but I was completely wrong. It's so, so much easier to get help - be it an appointment, a blood test (without seeing a doctor first), directions to go to the pharmacist, anything. It's just so much easier and faster to get help. I have put off going to the doctors for literal years and have ignored issues for so long, but now I know I can submit my eConsult and feel the weight off my shoulders immediately, knowing a doctor will look at it. They say it takes up to 48 hours, but I think the longest I've waited has been half a day, and then I've been able to book in so much quicker than normal. Honestly, this is working and I'm so thankful they introduced it. My rating would move to extremely likely if there was more follow up from the doctors, and if we could get in touch with the secretaries more easily than just 1 hour a day. I think the receptionists must deal with a bit of grief as a result of that.

    I called the GP and spoke with reception staff Due to me having a lung disease I needed antibiotics, had yet another chest infection. The reception staff member that dealt with me was extremely helpful. I then attended to pick up my precription and again I was met with very helpful reception staff.

    Phoned this morning 14,02,24 to make an appointment, said I need an appointment today and they said they have one at 9.00 wow great didn't expect that, got to the surgery at 8.50 tried to check in and they told me the appointment was for Monday the 19,02,24. Wasted journey, Wasted car park fee and I can't make the 19th that's why I called today to make an appointment. I've got a cough that's been going on for about 4 months now and need to see the doctor

    Rang for face2face GP appointment for sometime in January. Phone was answered within couple of minutes. Receptionist ask questions and suggested a Nurse Practitioner appointment. I asked whether the NP could prescribe and the answer was yes. Sorted, very happy with service.

    I had to bring my 3yr old granddaughter to the surgery today. I just want to say how lovely n helpful the receptionist was. My granddaughter happily stayed with her whilst I went back to my car to fetch some paperwork. She was a delight. Thank you

  8. Review titled Waited 3 days for an unhelpful response to an E-Consult

    Completely ineffective e-consult, complete waste of time! Like others have reported, my wife used e-consult and was told she would get a reply, three days later such response just told her to make an appointment with her GP!! This is exactly what everyone used to do before this total waste of time came about, three days wasted! Do they do this to just play for time or something as it really does not seem to benefit anyone!

    Dear AndyHe, Thank you for your feedback. The eConsult has been helpful for the sorts of problems that can be dealt with by advice or a prescription from the GP without needing to see the doctor directly. The option to include photos has also been useful for looking at skin lesions and rashes etc. However, some problems cannot be dealt with in this way and they require a face to face appointment for further assessment. Unfortunately the eConsult is not a way to obtain face-to face appointments as these still needs to be booked via telephone or online. I am sorry that this resulted in wasted time for your wife.
