I called the surgery for a status update on a prescription for my asthma inhaler to see if it was ready for collection. From 8.50am it took me 184 call attempts before I finally managed to get through, I was then on hold for a further hour and ten minutes and nobody answered my call. In the end I just hung up. My daughter and I will be moving to a different surgery. All I wanted was to see if mu inhaler was ready. It would have been just as quick for me to just go out and buy one. If I could I would rate this surgery minus 10 stars. Its awful

We're sorry you had difficulty reaching us. When the new owners took over in August 2022, we had limited phone lines and couldn't track the call queue. In December, we upgraded our system, allowing us to monitor demand and provide better service. We understand it was initially surprising to hear your position in the queue, however since then, we've increased our call handlers and strive not to miss any calls. Thank you for your patience as we've improved our phone system.
