I have been using stourport medical centre all my life and today I have had the most pleasant experience. I filled in my online form and rang this morning at 8am. I got an appointment for 9.30, my appointment was on time and the medical professional I saw was welcoming, had a huge smile was very methodical in the service provided, everything that could be done was done, everything was explained to me in full and the professional was amongst the best professional I have ever seen as a patient, anywhere at any appointment. The person on the reception was helpful. My experience today has prompted my feedback and I can not speak more highly of my experience today.

I Just wanted to give Stourport Medical Centre a shout out, you hear the bad and people moaning about the place but you rarely hear the good, I couldn’t fault them from first taking my call yesterday to seeing the student Doctors then the Doctor today, absolutely top service thank you to all.

dropped a letter in from my Neurology specialist two weeks ago asking them to prepare my prescription for my new Anti-seizure meds, and nothing has happend, even though it is on the system. i have been down in person today and they will not do it wanting me to speak to a Pharmacist, i don't need to do that i just need my prescription, they are very amature at best and put peoples lives in jepardy, i had to walk out in disgust before i blew up as this is all giving me mental anguish. It seems i will have to have more seizures when my current meds run out

I have spoken to my my Pharmacist who has advised me that he called you after your visit to surgery to apologise for any error on our behalf. I have had a reoccurring issue 5x, with extreme pain. The last time I attended, the nurse told me to request a Dr. Same thing occurred explained via the app of how much pain i was in and requested a Dr this time as i was again in extreme pain and no course of treatment was helping. The appointment options came through for 14 days time with a nurse! Fuming.

During the past few weeks I have been speaking with the surgery over my medication with the practice Pharmacist (My yearly review). Went through all medication and was suggested I have blood test before could alter one of my medications. This was done at the surgery. I have problem in giving blood but they always get it in the end. Phone call received with results in a few days and got results as pharmacist wanted to alter medication. Also had another problem and appointment made with ease for face to face at surgery. Could not get a better pharmacist that the one now. Best servive as always with SMC Well done all the staff.

I should have follow up with gp so phoned surgery and been told i have to fill up again triage form so i told them is nor fair as i will be waiting few weeks for appointment sp been told if im not happy to change surgery. In the end i filled up request telling i have bad fibromyalgia and need more help in response i received text message wirhout respond option telling gp exhausted options and cant get help anymore. Very unprofessional and careless. Before also had few appointments where been called face to face and appointment took 2 mins as been told is nothing what can be done to help me and have to find privately help. On questions foe change medication due taking same for many years got answer no one thing what can be done to stop taking any to check how big is my pain. I do understand my disease is careless but there gp if care should try to find way to help.

I ordered repeat meds on the NHS app on Wednesday evening having run out (my fault). The surgery made sure the px was done the next day so I could pick up at pharmacy. I appreciate their endeavours.

From the start of registering with this practice I've been impressed with the practice system of registering, getting in touch, online querys and even booking an appointment when your a full time carer, receptionist was so efficient, lovely and helpful. The highlight of it all was Dr follows who really probably didn't quite realise how much it meant that I had finally found a Dr that understood my menopause issues. Thankyou so much .
