Review titled Booking system not fit for purpose
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Abi - Posted on 20 December 2024
Attempt 1 to book via Evergreen failed. Numerous attempts and eventually locked out. Attempt 2 to book via phone. On hold for over 2 hours and then cut off. Attempt 3 to book via phone. Selected automated call back service. No call received but a text message received from NHS no reply saying unable to reach me. Attempt 4 to book via phone. Said was next caller for over an hour. Finally spoke to a receptionist at 18:28 only to tell me couldn't get any help from a GP now and should ring 111 instead. No apology given. I've had a lot of issues with this practice but this is the worst it's ever been. To not be able to contact anyone all day despite all these attempts and hours wasted is completely unacceptable.

Review titled Blood tests???
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 11 December 2024
I have been in hospital with covid and classed as vulnerable due to some other health issues. I was advised there that some kidney blood factors were low and to request my gp to repeat those tests the following week. I had a blood form from Streatham High Practice reception today and went for a blood test in the ground floor which I have done a number of times before. There is a new 'system' to scan the qr code (hopefully people have mobile phones!) where blood tests were booked in. You then have to book a test wef 2/1/2025!!! I saw The Centre receptionist who said I could try to talk to the phlebotomists to see if they could help. They said they couldn't. I went back to the gp receptionist again who can only offer a blood test at Guys Hospital on Monday. This is miles away and I have some mobility issues too. I know that Streatham High Practice and 2 others in Streatham are now run (ruined) by American Private concerns. How can this be allowed to happen when the system worked fine before?

Review titled Unusable booking system and no alternatives
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Jayesh Shah - Posted on 21 November 2024
My partner tried to register with the new Evergreen app for booking appointments (the one they got after the old app was continuously failing) and it refused to register her, so we had to call the practice. We called yesterday and they said to call back today to make a check-up appointment for our newborn then dropped the call. We have been trying since 8am this morning but whatever option you press (1 to 5, with 1 for appointments) just goes to an automated message saying to go to the website. This is the sort of thing scammers do. It's pathetic.

Review titled Bad service
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 25 November 2024
I have requested my friend medication over the phone as dr iq is down , the receptionist has confirmed that she has received it and it will be in the pharmacy after two days , anyway after one week I have visited the pharmacy to collect the medication , the pharmacist said they didn’t receive the prescription! I went back to the practice, the admin said ohhh the dr has rejected ! The dr has rejected without calling us to say I have rejected neither he called or let us know , nor even he didn’t informed us in anyway ! he took a nap and ignored us , on that day the admin has booked me an appointment for the dr to call me between 5-6pm but again the dr did not bother to call and we are still waiting , and also they have add me on another medication for my high blood pressure and forget to prescribe it for a whole week , they would be forgetting this for ever if I didn’t remind them !!! The service is so bad you need to suffer too much don’t come to this surgery .

My specialist wrote to the practice about a new medication I need for 6 months until my next hospital appointment. Been trying to get this medication with the practice Unyielding unhelpful. Their receptionist couldnt fjnd the specialist's letter despite my seeing on Dr iQ. Was asked to email the letter in and still no response Where do my taxes go to for the lack of patient care

Review titled Terrible booking system
Rated 2 stars out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 16 September 2024
The booking system is awful, and doesn’t work. I logged a request to see the doctor for my son, using their app. I specifically put my number as the contact number, knowing that my partner might not be available. They called my partner (despite my number being on the request and me making the referral) whilst she was on the phone to the same practice, so we missed the call and had to start all over again. Absolutely useless, and potentially a safeguarding issue there in my opinion.

Review titled Pregnancy incorrectly referred - bad experience
Rated 2 stars out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 28 May 2024
The first day I found out I was pregnant (it's my first pregnancy so feeling nervous) I notified the surgery via the app and received a call back same day (so far so good.) The GP wanted to refer me to the Hospital Maternity services themselves due to some medication I take which I was happy for them to do. After 2 weeks I had heard nothing so rang the Hospital only to find that the GP has only referred me for a 20 Week Scan and nothing else despite the fact I had had no other appointments so far for this pregnancy. The Maternity ward were shocked and apologetic but I needed to then self-refer (which I could have done in the first place). I then had to wait even longer for an appointment which was really frustrating given how badly I had been impacted by Morning Sickness and couldn't keep down any food or liquid. Very poor service indeed for something that seems extremely straightforward.

Review titled Great practice
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 29 May 2024
I had some blood tests at St.Thomas's a couple of weeks ago which revelaed some deficiencies and within 2 hours of having received a text from St.Thomas's with the results, one of the GPs from Streatham High had texted me and sent a prescription to my pharmacy. That is amazing service when their workload is so huge and I've always had a good experience here. My thanks and congratulations to all the team for being so on their game and patient-focussed.

Review titled Poor practice

I have transferred my 93 yr old father in law to this clinic as it is close to where he lives.Having registered easily I requested to order his repeat prescription which was turned down. After waiting for almost an hour I am promised a e consultation appt which came and went.Somebody had rung me back but could not speak.I tried twice waiting for an hour each when I spoke to a very dismissive receptionist. I was told to ring again the next day! What do I say.

Review titled Poor attitude.
Rated 2 stars out of 5
by n. l - Posted on 10 October 2023
Reception staff need better training to achieve a better standard of patient care. No apologies for constant mistakes, lack of communication when letting you know there is a problem and a general lack of understanding when it comes to the services of a GP practice; I have worked in the NHS for a decade and have found myself appalled at the attitude - this is dangerous as the happily dismiss issues that could develop into serious health implications.
