Review titled Prescription Issues
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Prescription Nightmare - Posted on 01 April 2024
Whilst attempting to renew my prescription this week and it turns out they haven’t added it to a repeat prescription. This isn’t the first time I’ve had issues with them on prescriptions a number of times. Often the wrong dose issued and it’s impossible to get medical attention quickly either by phone or appointment call back.

Review titled Great Practice
Rated 5 stars out of 5

My mum was with Streatham Park Surgery for many years. The care she received from here was 100%, there was always a call back and if required a home visit, nothing was to much trouble for the Doctors The Receptionist was always helpful and listened to any concerns. The end of life care was put in place quickly, communications good. .

Review titled Poor repeat prescription service
Rated 1 star out of 5
by KJL - Posted on 06 July 2023
I take regular medication. Up until recently, the GP after a medical review, would direct the chemist to dispense monthly medication for the next 6 months. The chemist in turn would text me, a few days before my repeat meds were due. Now they don't! Therefore, I have to request my repeat prescription each month. Simple you would think? No! Even requesting in time, my prescription is still not ready at the chemist. I have now run out if medication, even after the chemist themselves emailed the surgery. I've then had to call the surgery and, hang on the phone for ages. Luckily, I did get through to a decent receptionist, who has also emailed one of the doctors in the surgery. However, it's unlikely my prescription will be ready until tomorrow (bearing in mind I've now run out of medication such as diabetes medication). Plus, I have to work, so how can I get to the chemist when opens at 9am, when I'm working 12 miles away and start work at 7am? I'm sick of forever chasing the surgery and the chemist for my repeat prescription. I'm tired! Why oh why Streatham Park surgery, why can't you make getting repeat prescriptions easier? It's a ridiculous state of affairs how they now deal with repeat prescriptions. As for getting a GP appointment............. forget it!

Review titled Poor practice behaviour for mental health
Rated 1 star out of 5

I called the fransican road practice for an appointment. I called 83 times and kept getting ,sorry the practice is now closed from 3.30 to 4pm when I was told by a friend to call Mitcham Lane. O got through and said please don't tell me appointments are gone as I have been calling tooting . The lady asked what I wanted and said no appointments left, I got really angry as she tried telling me that calls are automatically transfered which was a lie. I told her the message I got from the tooting number ,I was swearing and really angry and said this is part of my mental health and then she cut me off. So people with mental health stay clear of this surgery.
