My Nurse on the day was efficient friendly and took time to give me details of the tests to be carried out and when the results would be available. Quick experience but not rushed. Should have taken her name. I called in at the surgery to make my appointment. Appointments by phone seem to be a different matter. Norma Meadows

I had a text message inviting me for an NHS Health Check. I couldn’t book the appointment on the NHS app which was disappointing. It only allowed blood test appointments so not sure why the facility is there if you can’t use it for your local surgery. Calling the surgery is hopeless so I walked there to make an appointment. I got an appointment within a couple of weeks which was fine as non urgent. I attended the appointment which was on time with no issues. Overall good but the booking process needs improving.

Unfortunately we do not have the facility for patients to book their NHS Health check on-line as often some additional information may be needed at the time of booking the appointment. I am sorry you have found it difficult to book the appointment via the telephone. Avoiding 8-10am and 2-3pm for booking nurse appointments is probably best. Janet Fry Practice Manager

Recently have had several appointments for various reasons. Doctor was very thorough and listened . By time I got home appointment for Nurse already arranged. Treatment by Nurse went well explained what was happening and results.

I had an issue that needed attention. The e consult was easy to navigate and I got a prompt response. I was given an appointment the following week and the doctor I saw was very good. He listened to my concerns and acted accordingly. I could not fault the service I received.

Annual review scheduled and well organised. Future bookings still difficult example blood tests cannot be booked other than next two weeks. As need a three monthly schedule we are forced to visit hospital for ease of scheduling.

We limit our blood appointments to two weeks as we find that booking any further ahead results in lots of DNA's which is a waste of appointments. Did my e consult 8.07.24 had email with ref no and saying they would contact me by 6.30 yesterday I’ve not heard anything still 10.07.24 I’ve checked all yesterday’s calls, emails & junk - nothing !
