After 3 abortive attempts to have a suspected abdominal hernia scanned my GP referred me to a surgical specialist, who reassured me that there was nothing to worry about but if it does get bigger to contact him immediately.

My husband took my son for his MMR vaccination straight from school. The nurse gave him the injection without cleaning the area (his arm) which to me wasn’t appropriate as I felt the area could have been cleaned to prevent infection. After the injection was given, she didn’t rub the area or cover the area with a plaster. My husband had to take my son back for a plaster because the area was bleeding. I was disappointed and feel sad about this. This is the second time he received vaccine from the practice and the area where the vaccine was administered (his arm) wasn’t cleaned. The first time it happened, I was with him. I just feel disappointed.

Once again my mother needed treatment from a nurse practitioner At the surgery visiting on three occasions and was really pleased with the care that was given thank you very much

I was actually seen on time & had great treatment from two nurses . They were Very friendly & made me feel very relaxed & comfortable .

I had a call with the Diabetic Nurse who was reviewing my progress on a new drug. The call was within the time slot allocated to me. The Sister was very friendly and asked pertinent questions and gave useful advice. We have scheduled further contact in 3 months time, for me to book a blood test.

Visited Surgery to have my PSA Blood Test. I was seen just before my appointment time. The extraction of my blood for the test was painless. The nurse was very helpful and professional.

The practitioner I saw was welcoming and inspired confidence. Her knowledge was excellent and she was able to answer my questions. While I understand the appointments are necessarily short I felt she had time for me and I did not feel hurried. An impressive young lady, well done.
