Excellent experience with dedicated staff always friendly and helpful and doctors very thorough kind and patient my experience this week put my mind at rest with a heart problem but the doctor is continuing with other tests very thorough

I feel some training is needed on giving vaccinations. The Shingles jab was just quickly jabbed into my upper arm causing a lot of pain. I usually have no problems or acute pain. I should have had the jab administered slowly with more thought as to where it was going. Our local Pharmacists are so much better at administering inoculations. The solution should not be used straight from a fridge. My arm is still very painful over 24vhours later.

I have discussed your concerns with the lead nurse and she has advised me that although it is preferable to have the injection out of the fridge prior to an appointment it does not always happen. I visited this surgery on the 23rd Jan2025 fir results of recent investigations. When I read the GPs note on the nhs site it stated that I had problems with my Rt knee which should have been Rt hip!!! I have also been waiting blood test results for paraproteins which was done two weeks ago. This result has not appeared on my test results By coincidence iwas told that the results had come back on the day of my appointment!!!!

The doctor I have been seeing for a few months about a problem with my hip, fairly sudden weight loss and anemia, has been very thorough with his analysis and listens to what I tell him and has reacted to what I explained to him. I feel that he will get to what is causing my problems and fix it. I am very pleased with the way he has, and is dealing dealing with them.

My son had his first blood test and this phlebotomist made the experience so positive. Because of her efforts today, I’m sure he won’t be anxious if he needs further tests in the future.

After being reassured blood tests were all fine 6 weeks later discover that they weren’t all complete and should have been retested at that point. I only discovered this by chance when making a drs appointment and then requesting a print out of the results. This makes it very difficult to have confidence in the system. Receptionists were on the defensive and I was made to feel that I had the problem when challenging why this had happened.

The nurse was very pleasant and kind. She was very thorough and cheerful. The nurse really put me at my ease. I am new to the area. ( the practice) I thought the simple signing in , as the patients arrive was a good idea.

In 3 years I was not able to see a doctor also with my serious illness. Now I need to change dressing in an open wound and the nurses dont want to do in a sterile way as requested by a head consultant.
