    The practitioner I saw was welcoming and inspired confidence. Her knowledge was excellent and she was able to answer my questions. While I understand the appointments are necessarily short I felt she had time for me and I did not feel hurried. An impressive young lady, well done.

    Waiting 40mins till I saw the doctor. When I booked in it said he was on time. Then when I went to reception to book blood test. Told to go home and book at 7pm as of today still can't get an appointment. Did go back to the surgery. To be told the same. Go online. Tried again tonight. No appointments again. Very annoyed.

    Dear patient Thank you for taking the time to post your feedback on your recent interaction with the practice. I am sorry that you have had difficulties in booking a blood test. We do open up the clinics two weeks in advance and they are released on line at 7pm each evening. This doesn't mean to say you can't ring to book the appointment or come into the surgery the following morning to book. Janet Fry Practice Manager

    We have been trying to make a routine appointment for one of us with his doctor who knows him to discuss the progress of his Parkinsons and related problems, his osteoporosis diagnosis and effects of his falls earlier this year including the bone scan he had done in Portugal as QA did not have an appointment before we went out there for several weeks. We are quite happy to use computers. However the e consult is useless for this type of request. We filled in the box saying in detail why he wanted to see his doctor and then clicked through several questions with the answer "Not Applicable". The next page had a list of problems to which the answer "none of the above" would have been appropriate but was not available. We did try picking one which resembled a Parkinsons symptom but the subsequent questions were irrelevant and at the end it said dial 111 which was stupid. So we rang the surgery and got a dial back and the helpful receptionist said she had filled in an e-consult for him but whether it explained exactly what he wanted we are not sure of as we have not yet received an appointment. We can understand the need for some kind of triage for routine appointments and are happy to fill in a request on line as we did in the first box on the e consult but consider the rest of the form to be totally unfit for purpose for triageing routine appointments. We should add that this is not the first time that we have used or tried to use e consult to contact the practise and every time have found it unfit for purpose. We would appreciate your views on how to make routine appointments in an efficient way that wastes less of our time and that of the surgery staff as well as ensuring that the Doctors time is used appropriately.

    Dear Mr and Mrs Greenaway Thank you for your feedback on your recent experience using E-Consult. Unfortunately we are unable to amend the layout/questions that the E-Consult provides and appreciate that some of the sections are not user friendly, however if the request is not straightforward the I would recommend asking the reception staff to complete an E-Consult Lite which limits the number of questions asked.     Following a referral by NHS111 the response by Stubbington Medical Practice has been excellent. Appointments have been arranged in a timely manner and carried out competently. Information and results have been passed on promptly with follow-up appointments being processed quickly. This review is an investigation by the practice in to one medical condition and their process to resove it.

    On time and excellent care provided. Repeat dressing of a surgical wound was done with care and sensitivity. Practioners have a difficult job to do and they do it extremely well. Could not be happier with the care provided.

    Dr reviewed my chemotherapy meds and how they effected my daily life She also listened to my experience of what happened when my husband died .Dr was compassionate and kind .

    The GP I had seen on my visit was very helpful , understanding and listened to my concern and enquiries . Explained thoroughly the benefits of the medication offered . She also explained there were other options to also consider if the medication did not agree with me . I felt very reassured and pleased with the outcome .
