    Staff are rude and obstructive, and seem determined to keep patients away. Almost impossible to get an appointment in a time frame that is likely to be of any assistance.

    Great GPs , nurses etc but they seem overwhelmed. It’s impossible to get an appointment even if you get a text telling you to come in and book an appointment. It started going pear shaped after one of the founding members retired then covid hit and they haven’t recovered. They probably need more admin and organisation but I can’t see it improving any time soon . At the moment I would not recommend no

    Can’t get any appointments and have to wait 12 days just to get a telephone appointment even though can’t eat been being sick and swollen tummy and legs

    I tried on several days to use the online appointment request form - the only way to request an appointment with Studholme. It was constantly closed due to high volume. On Friday morning I tried at 0800 but couldn’t get on the form, some online problem. I went to the surgery and a man took my name and date of birth and reason for wanting an appointment. Said I’d get a text later with a date for an appointment. Waited all day and heard nothing. Will now have to start all over again after the bank holiday. This is typical of trying to get an appointment at Studholme since the pandemic. I’m considering moving to another surgery after 40 years.

    After being advised by 111 to see my GP within an hour, it took nearly 100 calls to get through, and once through, waited 30 mins for the call to be answered. To be advised that they couldn’t see me. It was ‘only a chest infection’. They went against what the clinician told them to do, and I ended up in A&E due to a high heart rate and pneumonia. They’ve now text for me to call to speak with a GP, low and behold, can’t get through!

    I appreciate how busy GP's are so I was extremely grateful with the service I received, rang this morning regarding a sick note and was expecting to get it in a few days, it was electronically sent to me. Thank you

    Extremely happy with the care and support I have received during my short time as a newly registered patient. Reception, the doctors and the pharmacy team have been fantastic and are providing an amazing service even through these difficult times. I felt listened to and involved in my care throughout all communication. Yes it takes some time to get through on the phone which is the same across the NHS but always greeted with a friendly welcome and helpful service. Thank you, I am most grateful.

    I was started on medication for chronic pain and had reservations about taking the drug over a long period of time. One of the clinical pharmacists within the practice took time to call me and discuss my reservations and after commencing treatment, she called me on a few occasions to check that I was happy with the medication and not suffering any unwanted side effects. I then had further queries and requested a telephone appointment with her. She responded promptly and was very supportive and reassuring. She also suggested some links to websites which she thought might be of benefit in managing my chronic pain. This is an excellent service given the current pressures the practice is under and much appreciated. Well done to all staff at Studholme for continuing to offer a good standard of care within the current difficult climate.

    Practice Pharmacist (Reju) has been very helpful and supportive with regard to my trialling medication for chronic pain. It is very reassuring to have this support and a named practitioner to follow up and answer any queries. She has called me to check in on how I was getting on with the medication and when I contacted the practice with a query she was quick to respond. This is a brilliant service for patients to access within the practice and very much appreciated. Given the current pressures the practice is under this service is a great addition to the already high level of service the practice delivers. Well done to all at Studholme!

    I have severe pain in my leg at the moment. I filled out an online form and had a telephone appointment 5 days later. Was prescribed medicine and told I will have a call a week later. The call never came, I was accused by a pointed and rude receiptionist that I must have missed the call, and was tol no phone appointments available and I'll be spoken to in a weeks time. What about this appointment for this week that never came?! Basic customer service would be nice. How are they allowed to function like this, especially with rude receiption staff? Not the best when you are in severe pain
