I visited for a blood test this morning but had a medical query as I have not been able to get an appt. The gentleman on reception was friendly and extremely helpful. Totally restored my faith in Studholm after reading so many negative messages

The professionalism and compassion demonstrated by the tissue viability nurse was outstanding. He made me feel at ease and was understanding of my feelings. Heartfelt thank you!

Being a senior citizen I have just learned enough to make appointments on line.. but sometimes one needs to talk to reception to enquire about blood test and letters left by the doctor. I called today at about 5pm and had a very curt and rude attitude from the receptionist.. she just wouldn't listen to what I was saying and kept repeating her point of view., and put down the phone on me. Someone kindly went to pick my blood test form and was told there isn't one. I am so very stressed as what to do .. I don't call my surgery unnecessary only when I am asked to. Now I feel very reluctant to call for the fear of being scolded. Mrs Nazneen Butt

As the "Ask Reception A Question" facility on the Studholme website was continually unavailable at the times it was advertised as being open, I put my question concerning one of my medications in the "Comments" box at the foot of the "Repeat Prescription Request" page (I was not actually requesting any medication supplies as I have a "Batch Repeat" set up with a local pharmacy). At lunchtime on the next working day it was answered in an email to me efficiently and very amiably. Really grateful to the Surgery Pharmacist who gave such a prompt response, which easily resolved my query and gave me confidence about taking this particular medication. Thank you!

Have been a patient can I say all staff Drs,Nurses,so helpful, staff always understress but always at hand, be patient to our receptionists ther trying to continually please us all, fit us all in. 5*

Living with a serious, complex, long term health condition is challenging, not just for me but also those involved in my care. When you have a wonderful, extremely competent team looking after you it’s very reassuring and helps to make a rather difficult life easier. I want to thank everyone at Studholme for always going above and beyond with my care. Their interaction and communication is great and their knowledge and expertise is outstanding. The practice website is very easy to navigate and use, the response time for booking appointment or asking them a question is quick and I love the text message service. I would highly recommend anyone thinking of joining this practice to do so. I really do appreciate all your hard work and support, I would most certainly be lost without you all. Huge, massive thank you :)

I think its far more common for people to acknowledge negative experiences. But I think you should also acknowledge the exceptional service provided too. My thanks to the receptionist who listened and helped me by ensuring a Dr called my daughter and for the follow up call she recieved today by a Dr who knows her story very well. When your in a place not knowing where or who to turn too and even in the most difficult and relentless times for those in the NHS. I just want you to know that my family and I appreciate all you do in the most challenging of circumstances.

The Doctor had obviously thought ahead of the consultation, and offered me options to help with my ongoing issues. She explained everything very well and helped me make comfortable decisions. She was very supportive of my progress so far, and has set me up with achievable goals and direction for the future.

Access via own GP surgery. Appointment with a very helpful Dr who went the extra step to ring my own GP. I shouldn’t have been referred to this service as dealing with a chronic condition. However he did reassure me.
