Dr. R....i need more knowledge whatever she doing in GP. she doing wrong thing on me when i want second appointment receptionist hold me few minutes and they refused , told me to go another place what a shame ...

As a BP/Kidney patient, I try to avoid stress where possible. When you receive a text to say "Please call tomorrow at 8.30 to make a phone appointment to discuss your blood results" you do not immediately think that this is good news. Stressful. You call at 8.30 and are 17th in the queue. It takes until 8.59 for someone to answer and say there are no slots, please call back on Monday. Will the same happen again? Not at all stressful then, waiting all weekend to find out what is what. Awful experience. Wholly avoidable.

I remember the days when you made an appointment and saw a Doctor and more often than not one who had knowledge of your medical history. Today it is difficult to make an appointment to see any Doctor and for a "telephone" appointment you even have to wait almost 2 weeks. You are sent for tests where I assume the surgery makes a % then receive SMS for a meeting but no one is available for weeks ahead! Service has definitely deteriorated at the practice and although they have more "technology" the ability to deliver the basics is a bit disappointing. If you ever get to see the receptionists they are extremely helpful and the doctors seem to know there stuff but the administration/management of the facility leaves a lot to be desired.

Continue to get text messages re asthma reviews and yet again none of these links work, only review was ages ago by phone, unsatisfactory response and result. Supposedly referral to head pain specialist never happened even after a year! Waited over 2 years to see ent specialist even after requesting referral and questioning waiting time and sending email that was not responded to

Booked a face to face appointment about four weeks ago for ongoing problems, none of them serious but out together making life rather difficult. Appointment was late, but I got very good service and the doctor I saw actually listened to me and I’ve got a telephone appointment for counselling in a couple of weeks. Also might get physio for my thumb which has nerve damage due to a bad cut a year ago. Very helpful if you can get an appointment. Apparently the appointment system is much easier now but I went down there in person to arrange mine.
