It’s like gold dust trying to get an appointment to see anyone. Yesterday I called to get a Dr appointment and got told a DR would call me back between 4-6, I then received a text saying it would be 3.50 slightly annoying they can’t get the times right in a two hour window. It wasn’t a DR who called me it was a nurse who couldn’t help me at all really as I needed to speak to a dr the nurse lied to me and told me there was nothing that I could be prescribed to help with my issue but I know that’s not the case. If I had spoken to a Dr like I asked they should have been more informed on what I can and can’t be prescribed for my issue. This is not the only issue iv had trying to get appointment’s or finding out consultants have lied on my medical records saying I only wanted a procedure to help my varicose veins for cosmetic reasons I categorically never once said that but according to my records I did. I 100% would not recommend GP alliance to anyone.

Dear Miss Mitford, I am very sorry that you felt the need to complain ,This is not the quality of service we wish to deliver, We are aware of the issues we face around offering patients appointments at the moment. We are introducing a new system on Monday 17th April called "Alliance Care" and we are very confident that this will allow us to offer our patients much better access to our appointments offering a much fairer and need based approach. This in no way negates the bad experience you have had but will relieve some of the pressure currently faced by our staff and in turn will hopefully create an atmosphere which if more patient focused and supportive. I'm sorry you feel you would not recommend the Practice and for any issues relating to a Consultant you would need to raise this with the hospital team, Regards Kevin Doran Assistant Head of General Practice

it takes a very long time to get through to the reception on the phone, everytime i call it takes at least 20 minutes, no matter the time. a few days ago i called and was first in the line for 35 minutes before they bothered answering, clearly just letting the phone ring. when i finally got through (regarding test results) the receptionist quickly told me them and almost hung up before i asked her what i need to do, as i had tested positive for something, and she told me to just go to a pharmacy. this is my first time taking a test for anything and i am a full time student so i would have thought the gp would need to issue a prescription for me to have the medication free of charge but i’m not sure. when i had my appointment with a doctor previous to the test results, they called me in 30 mins after my appointment slot. i didn’t really have anything explained to me in the appointment and was just told to take tests. which is fine, i researched the things afterwards. it was just very rushed and seemed very careless. i don’t ever write reviews but i have had so many bad experiences with this gp now that i’ll be looking into other places. multiple times, they have given me wrong drugs and wrong doses and when i have called about this the receptionists explained that the packaging had changed and the drug was the same (even though i had my old medication to compare and the drugs listed were different) and on another occasion i was told i need to ‘sort it out’ another time because they were closing. i could not recommend this gp less- they are terrible. please do not go here if you can avoid it.

Thank you for the help we as a family have received from the foodbank through the practice. This means a great deal to use as we wont have to worry about food over Christmas. We are very grateful to the practice for donating to a family like mine we can now have a stress free Christmas. Thank you very much

I received a text requesting feedback about my telephone interview with the practice pharmacist. I found he was easy to talk to, we covered the items prescribed by the doctors plus items I purchased myself indepth and possible side effects. His manner was friendly, patient and productive.

I cannot thank the ANP enough, my life has been changed around after I saw her for what I thought was perimenopausal symptoms. After investigations I was diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes. I now feel great, on medication, all my symptoms have resolved and I feel very motivated. If I had been given HRT, I would still not know I was Diabetic. Very happy with the service, one happy customer

I had my usual annual birthday assessment with a lovely HCA. I was really impresses with her kindness and knowledge and the way she conducted my appointment. She was very thorough and asked some questions ensuring she was not only asking about my general health but my mental health too. We are very lucky to have such wonderful people working at our practices.

I had the usual birthday assessment at the galleries today by a lovely HCA Victoria.I was really impressed with her kindness and knowledge and also the way she conducted my appointment.She was very thorough and asked some questions ensuring she was not only asking about my general health but my mental health too .
