Sent an email to surgery requesting a consultation. Follow up phone call was literally within 5minutes and an invitation to attend the surgery that morning. Initially seen by a healthcare assistant who did basic obs, then seen by 2 trainee medical students who took a detailed history of my issue, and then seen by a paramedic practitioner who arranged medication and also investigative scans at a later date. So impressed with the prompt service & treatment - amazing.

The staff are friendly and supportive. Nothing is too hard and they go out of their way to make you feel comfortable

Prompt referrals for specialist investigations and friendly,compete nt staff, both medical and administrative. Also very pleasant and clean premises.

I have been attending Sunny Meed surgery for nearly 70 years and I have always had excellent service. I realise that covid has had a massive effect on the NHS, but it has become a nightmare trying to get through to Sunny Meet on the phone. This morning much to my delight I managed to get through straight away, the receptionist took my details, kindly filled in the form and said the duty triage Dr would ring me in 2/3 hours. I also had confirmation on my mobile. 7 hours later I was still waiting, after numerous phone calls on my mobile, leaving the land line free, holding on for 30 mins each time, I was eventually answered. Only to be told I had been put on a waiting list to have physio. Not only was I waiting, but my son who lives in Guildford, was waiting for me to ring so he could take me up to the surgery. I am finding it difficult to walk far which is frustrating but I do feel having reached 90, I feel a little pushed to one side. This is the second time I have been left sitting waiting be called back over the last few weeks. Obviously it is a busy surgery and I except that, but I am very disappointed that no one bothered to inform me, not daring to leave the flat in case I missed a phone call that never happened. It's not good enough.

If you are able to, you can send us your request online weekdays from 8am until 12 o'clock via our website https://sunnymeedsurgery.nhs.uk/. This is the quickest and safest way to get in touch with us and also ensures the phone lines are kept free for patients who might not be able to use the internet. We have had a new telephone system installed and we are still making changes to improve access for our patients. Attended Surgery after contacting online. Received quick response with an appointment same day. Attended Surgery and was seen in a reasonable time taking into consideration it was quite a busy time.

I have been with this practice for 14 years and in all that time including during Covid,( when I heard awful stories of GP practices leaving people standing outside in the freezing cold and rain while the receptionists chatted inside.. non of that.. they saw people all the way through, inside seated at a suitable distance) and have been a really good practice. They contact you when they say they are going to and give you an appointment as soon as humanly possible. If you have an urgent problem they act accordingly despite what are obviously challenging times with GP recruitment. Thank you Sunnymead

My actual surgery is Hillview but when my appointment came through it was for Sunny Meed which is two minutes away. The check in was smooth. The receptionist was friendly and efficient. I was seen a little late but it was the end of the day and didn’t cause me a problem. The doctor understood my issues and prescribed medication. I was slightly concerned that my appointment wasn’t actually at my usual practice but if it ever happens again I know not to worry.

Phoned at 8 in the morning was seen in the surgery at 10 past 9. Thought I would have trouble getting seen but the receptionist heard in my voice that I was ill, I got lucky

You need to wait 45 minutes for a question. I called cereral times and no repsonse.The practise is not well oragbiased.
