    I sent a message via the website this morning asking for help as my cold has turned into a chest infection (asthmatic). I was sent a message asking further questions and then, typically, in the 2 mins I popped to the bathroom, they called back and then texted to say could I call to book an appointment. I've now been on hold (screenshots) for 2hrs 47mins and 45 of those are No. 1 in the queue! I started at No. 15. This is utterly ridiculous! How can anyone be 45 minutes as the first caller in the queue? The system is so desperately broken it's beyond a joke now. What are the receptionists doing?

    Dear Dr Godfrey, thank you for your feedback. We are sorry that you had to wait on the phone for a long time and acknowledge that this is not ideal. We are in the process of making changes to our phone system as well as recruiting more staff members. I can seee that you were given an appointment the next day and that you have spoken to our Practice Manager to explain what happened. We suggest to patients to contact us via the website when possible as it is the quickest way to get in touch with us.
