    It doesn’t let me name the doctor but I wish I could because she was brilliant from start to finish! When I had my initial call with her she was friendly and reassuring whilst also acknowledging my preference to try and avoid medication as the first solution. She got me booked in for a blood test ASAP and didn’t ask me to wait for my results before booking a face to face appointment, but also had me booked in to see her at the same time. This meant that I went for my blood test and then could discuss the results two days later in our appointment, where she also did a check up and booked me for an ultrasound.. I was called a couple of hours later by the hospital to book the ultrasound immediately. Very efficient service which is not often experienced. I have to say the doctor’s welcoming, patient and friendly manner was so nice and again unexpected, but I wish all doctors were like this! I felt at ease and able to share all concerns and she was very professional when doing the check up and listening to the issues. I have always dreaded going to the doctor and especially for feminine issues and I am worried my concern might be dismissed or that I will be made to feel like I am overreacting… but this was not the case with this doctor. Thank you so much, you’re great at what you do. (She is the young British Asian doctor with surname beginning C)

    To whom it may concern, I would like to express my sincere gratitude and appreciation for Nurse at Surrey Docks Health Centre. She recently conducted a thorough health checkup for my autistic son, and I was truly amazed by the level of care and attention she provided. Nurse's expertise and compassion were evident throughout the entire process. She took the time to understand my son's specific needs and made him feel comfortable and safe. The health check was comprehensive, and Nurse provided us with invaluable advice and guidance on the next steps and potential concerns to monitor. This was the first time we received such a thorough and personalised health service for my son, and I am incredibly grateful for Nurse's dedication and professionalism. She is a true asset to Surrey Docks Health Centre, and I have no hesitation in recommending her to other families. Sincerely, Patience Modevi

    We saw doctor (system doesn't allow to say the doctor's name) in Dec-24 after my daughter has had a cough for 3 months. The doctor's first advice was - "try do not cough", he was very unhelpful. Last week we saw a private doctor, who confirmed that my daughter has asthma!

    We were very anxious when our 8 years old son developed a lump in his neck. The doctor took our anxiety and worries away from the first consultation by explaining to us that it was common reaction to his sore throat. She gave my son a course of antibiotics and offer us a follow up appointment. We have seen the doctor today to let her know what all problems my son has had in the past 10 day has now resolved. We are so happy and relieved Thank you Doctor for your professionalism and compassion. The parents

    I feel that the current system of booking appointments using nhs apps, or link send by Practice or Doctor works for me. It works for me as I can complete and submit the questionnaire (symptoms) using nhs apps. The practice will review your request and send you an appointment book to be seen by a Doctor (within a week, or sooner depends on availability) or telephone appointment. (Usually same day) Also, I am able to select follow up appointment using the link send by doctor I can view the list of doctors and appointments available to book. The process of requesting repeat prescriptions is seamless using nhs app.

    My original appointment was cancelled due to staff illness which cannot be helped at all. However, a phone appointed booked to replace this appointment I was told or heard 2.30pm a different time to the actual call happening, hence missed it. When I replied, I was then informed rudely by text the actual time my replacement appointment was booked, was 11.20am, which clearly differed from what I was told/heard, however, the GP still called 30 minutes after this alleged appointment time, at 11.47, so no ownership of poor communication or the fact they missed their own 11.20 alleged appointment. Loving the fact the text implied it was all my fault nice, bullying and enabling barriers to people accessing health care for vulnerable adults living with neurodiversity and bipolar

    I consulted/seen by a GP for indigestion symptoms (experiencing more than 3 weeks). She was extremely thorough as She checked if I have had other symptoms. (Noted, she prepare her own notes before seeing me) She was aware (checked my record) that I did present with indigestion symptoms in Aug 2020. It was being investigated and it resolved itself without medication. She did ask for my permission for examination and tests. She prescribed medication which help. Also, she advised me to book a follow up appointment when all the test results were back. I always have good/great service at Surrey Dock Health Centre over the years.

    Told to go to urgent care or A&E as no appointments available. Never any appointments available in under a week, even if the problem is urgent and easily solved. Even a telephone consultation is two days. Use to be a great GP practice now the phone staff at the hub are rude, uncaring often leave me in tears. Today I was offered a different practice which is two bus journeys for me. This is difficult for me to do, when explaining that to the call centre staff I was shouted at and told that they can't magic appointments and asked what I wanted them to do. Which is completely unprofessional and rude, what I can imagine most people want is to have an appointment at the practice they registered with!

    Today it is the third time in few weeks that I am given a telephone appointment but then I don’t receive any calls from the GP. After the second incident I went in person to the GP practice to flag the potential issue with their system, but I was just dismissed by the personnel at the reception, as they kept assuming that I missed the call because I wasn’t next to my phone or I didn’t turn my ringtone on. This was despite showing them the lack of missed calls in my phone. I had to reschedule a third appointment by phone for today, but exactly like the first two times I haven’t received any calls despite spending half day next to my phone. I have been waiting to speak with a GP since August 20, this is unacceptable.
