The review won't allow me to name specific doctors unfortunately, but I can say that a particular lady doctor at Tudor Practice has always been very thorough when trying to identify a cause for my symptoms. She has been absolutely phenomenal to be honest. I have always felt listened to, and took seriously too. Myself and my family have always been able to get an appointment pretty much the same day, and have felt confident with the decisions made by our doctor. She also agreed to see my daughter late one evening and stayed over to see her. All of the doctors are amazing to be honest. I'm only changing GP due to a house move, but I cannot fault anyone at Tudor Practice, from the reception staff to the doctors. 10/10 from me and my family. Thank you so much for looking after us all these years!

The online appointment system has transformed the experience of using the system replacing a difficult to access phone system in which the type and date of appointment had an almost random character. The new system removes the struggle to secure an appointment and encourages patients to concentrate instead on accurately describing symptoms. The system enabled me to secure a prompt appointment and enabled the GP to have access to a more detailed description of symptoms presented before the consultation. The new system provides the foundation for further development based and led by user experience. Only concern is that systems development is matched by user understanding and ability to access web based systems of communication.

If you switch someone from one medication to the other , even if they move and you de register them , a show of care with follow up is still warranted. You dealing with human beings, you can just de register someone, no warning and not follow up on how they are doing on the medication you switched. Nearly had a stroke . If I was too much for you , could have left me on my old medication.

I am sorry to hear that you have had an issue. Unfortunately as you have not provided your details, I am unable to look into this and respond appropriately. Please email your feedback to nhsbsolicb.scgp@nhs.net providing your name, date of birth, address and the surgery that you were registered with and I can look into this for you. Please mark this for my attention. We would not de-register a patient without informing them, an out of area letter would usually be sent by our admin team advising of the date you would be de-registered and advising that you need to register with another GP practice closer to your new address. The patient would need to contact the surgery to obtain a supply of their medication before transferring to a new surgery. Once I receive your information, I can investigate this properly for you. This was my first time using the new online rapid health booking system which went well. I then received an email explaining I would be contacted within 48 hours. I got a call within two hours and the doctor I spoke to, listened to me, was very kind and dealt with my concerns. I felt very cared for. The doctor was very helpful despite it being the first time I had spoken with him (based at a different practice within the group to the one I am registered with).

Ref: Sutton Park Surgery. As long as you have access to a computer the new system is brilliant. Went on line; able to choose from many available telephone consultations (inc. same day); call from Dr received on time; face to face appointment then arranged within 35 minutes. Seen on time in surgery. Receptionists are polite, professional and helpful. This has always been an excellent practice and in my view continues to be so. Thank you.

Always found all the team members at scgp very professional, but also so kind and caring. The Doctors who have helped me have been amazingly thorough, supportive and extremely diligent in following up my treatment. Feel beyond grateful for the excellent care from what I feel are some very kind people. A heartfelt thank you to all at scgp.

Tudor Practice is a great practice and they are always striving to do the best for their patients. The doctors that I have dealt with are always kind and understanding. I cannot speak highly enough of this practice. 5 stars.

Since the practice merged with all the other practices locally (or however many they have done). It is a nightmare trying to speak to anyone. To get a doctor just to talk to me has taken two and a half hours of calls over two days, (including to book an ecg). The doctors response when I asked how do I book an ECG as I don’t want to wait hours on the phone to go through to the wrong person. Was to laugh and say they had never used it and didn’t know. Not massively helpful or understanding, I appreciate as a country we are all having issues but some simple humility wouldn’t go a miss.

Dear Matt, Thank you for your review. We are sorry to hear that you had a poor experience when trying to book an ECG. Since leaving your review, I can assure you that improvements have been made to our booking system. You can now book a GP or ANP appointment online via our website between the hours of 7.30am-12pm. This has improved the call waiting times dramatically, in the last week the average call waiting time was 2 mins 49 seconds. I can confirm that all other appointments including ECG's can be booked at the reception desk or via the telephone. We are always striving to make changes to improve the service for our patients. Nothing via phones, at all. Made personal call only to be told that the only way I will get an appt is to join a long queue at 8amm and then its not guaranteed. I needed to speak to a nurse ref blood pressure but there is no chance. I asked for a phone appt, she said you need to see a doctor first. hahahaha!! I said How? I cant get through. Forget it.

I can assure you that since you left your review, improvements have been made to the booking system, which has in turn dramatically improved the call waiting times. During the last week, the average call waiting times were 2 mins 49 seconds. You can now book GP and ANP appointments via our website between the hours of 7.30am-12pm. All other appointments can be booked at the reception desk or via the telephone. You no longer have to call at 8am or queue at the desk at 8am. We also now offer a mix of face to face and telephone appointments with the GP. We hope you will find your experience in future a much better one.
