Frustratingly the surgery on several occasions have failed to make links and lack regard for the actual person requiring care and support. Sadly the surgery appear to not apply logic and follow a system that falls very short when you are trying to get advice or an appointment. So in the end you give up! This then has the knock on effect of people not receiving the care they need, or receiving inadequate care or using other services (such as emergency ones), that they shouldn't need to. I am afraid that this service needs to make significant improvements to it systems and patient care to ensure it delivers a safe and effective service. It is time to move away from the restrictive medicalised model and modernise how the surgery becomes more responsive to those that require its help.
