My father suddenly outside the surgery in his vehicle two doctors my own included dropped everything in an attempt to save his life. They had to forcibly secure entry to the vehicle. As well as a superb GP who has greatly assisted me In a life threatening medical emergency I cannot express my thanks enough to their valiant attempts to save my father. It brings great comfort to know if they couldn’t save him no one could.

The Allan Practice Team has gone the “extra mile” to care for my wife since she was diagnosed with a terminal condition in February. Despite being encumbered by poor processes and disconnected systems they have found ways to make sure that my wife gets the best care possible. Friendly and helpful people all doing their best within a NHS system that needs overhauling to retain the good parts and get rid of waste, duplication, rework and inefficiency.

Family members have been patients of the practice for nearly 4 decades and continue to receive a first-class service. Recently I suffered a fractured humerus followed by a planned hip replacement. All staff members are friendly, listen carefully, and assess the situation efficiently. I have received excellent diagnoses, advice and on-going support and have no hestitation in recommending the practice.

Took my nearly 2 year old for an ear infection today. The Dr was so kind with her and took the time to give her a sticker and pretend to do the checks on me first so she wasn’t suspicious of anything he was doing. Considering how busy our doctors are I was very grateful that he didn’t rush it and really did everything to make sure my little one wasn’t afraid.

I have been a patient of the Allen Practice for more years than I care to recall and had three separate GP’s. All have been excellent and the ethos, friendliness and efficiency of the practice is excellent. Thoroughly recommended.

Contact with GP was by txt. I was impressed by how quickly I received a response. It was very efficient: stated my eye problem; doctor replied almost immediately; I sent pictures of infected eye; diagnosis was made; prescription sent directly to pharmacy. The whole process was completed within a very short time…one to two hours from initial contact to having prescription in my hand. In addition, doctor attached links directing me to additional information re my problem which I found very useful.
