Currently it is very difficult to get an appointment, but once you do get one, the staff right from reception through to all clinicians are very, very caring and thorough. Staff will try their utmost within the parameters set to get you seen and will make alternative suggestions if they are unable to offer an appointment. It is a very difficult time currently for both patients and staff with regards the NHS and I cannot thank them enough for looking after me. They all work very hard and deserve recognition for their efforts and kindness.

I attended an appointment with a Nurse at the Practice as part of a routine screening programme. The Nurse was extremely professional and thorough in her explanation of the procedure and ran through what I should expect once the results were known. The Nurse enquired whether I was up to date with other screening or if anything was outstanding. I advised I needed to book in to have my cholesterol rechecked and, after looking on my record to confirm the test was due, she proceeded to take a blood sample to send off. I am really impressed with the nurse and the service I received today. A truly efficient way of using the appointment and our time. Thank you!

Firstley went to the nurse weekly for care of my leg. Very satisfactory outcome. Then have been under the care of a lovely lady doctor who really listened to my concerns of how i have been feeling altho not fully well i do know that if i need more help she will be there for me. Thankyou to you all for making me feel like a person and not just a number.

My appointment with advanced nurse practitioner was second to none, she was kind, compassionate and extremely helpful with all my questions and anxieties. A pleasure to visit. The reception staff were helpful professional. Thank you all so much.

Really impressed with the recent service from the surgery. Went online at just after 8 in the morning to book a consultation and very easily made a face to face appointment for the same day. Clinician was very helpful and advice given in a manner that was understood. Such a difference from the past couple of years where it was often difficult to obtain an appointment at all.

I Went for a routine check up and the clinical nurse and Dr E were very thorough and contacted me later in the day to suggest I went to the hospital for further tests as she was concerned. The Dr was very attentive and showed great patient service, following my bloods and hospital visit right until the end with support. The surgery has been very helpful after my health diagnosis and I can’t thank them enough for being so thorough. Thank you Dr E and all at the Anstey surgery.

I've had symptoms of Thyroid problems. The management staff were so effective in ensuring I was with a doctor as soon as possible. They analysed my circumstances and initiated an effective and full course of analysis to understand and diagnose the problem. I was given a very reassuring conclusion and recommendations for future observations of my condition. I cannot praise everyone involved highly enough.

It’s very easy to moan about the NHS but the last two times I’ve gone to the doctors I’ve managed to get an appointment the same day so somebody must be listening. Thanks NHS

The doctor I saw was kind, sensitive and made me feel listened to. He was patient and understanding of my concerns. I left feeling reassured and with a good understanding of the next steps in my treatment. Very highly recommended.
