  1. Review titled Rubbish surgery

I don’t know why this surgery is still operating, you cannot get an appointment for at least 5 weeks in advance and then only a telephone call which when I did get to speak to what I thought was a GP I did not get any meaningful information regarding my medication and when I asked a question about my medication causing me nose bleeds was told to not use it for a couple of days, which I find unacceptable and was later messaged in the day to say she had spoken to her supervisor about my appointment and told to use this medication less frequently. So I actually never got to speak to a qualified GP about my concerns. On from this I phoned surgery this morning as sent a message as I hypertension review is due only to be told there are no appointments for the forseable future please get back to us in a month. What’s going on ???? Do they ever hold surgeries or do they ever have any appointments available ever???? Bearwood and banks medical centre should be closed as you cannot feel safe in the knowledge that you have a GP surgery when it appears we do not at Bearwood Bournemouth

  2. Review titled Awful. Not a GP, more like a call centre.

I am chronically ill amd disabled. I take many medications daily to manage my various health conditions. Received a text message saying I need to book a medication review before next months medication can be issued. 3 times I have called and every time Ive been told sorry can't help you, no appointments available. Even when I explained that I need thos medication to live and am concerned about it not being prescribed. Nothing we can do call back later. Absolutely useless.

I am so surprised this practice is still open. Booking an appointment is near enough impossible. They said they didn't have appointments for the next two months! Same day appointments are reserved for emergencies. But when you do have a medical emergency they say to go to the hospital. I was experiencing a fever so tried to book a same day appointment which I couldn't get for two days in a row as it wasn't an emergency .It ended up getting worse so they said to go to the hospital. I ended up having an infection that could have been dealt with with antibiotics when I had called to book an appointment two days earlier. I ended up being given an IV. All could have been prevented if they managed the practice effectively . Also had a seizure one night and called the GP the next day. The receptionist stated she didn't understand why I was asking for an appointment if I felt fine now. So bizarre. Both the receptionist and the doctors need a refresher course on how to deal with patients. Would avoid at all costs. Not worth it. Also can't deal with routine appointment such as contraception or mental health. Not sure what the point of having a GP at this rate

  4. Review titled Awful Awful GP. Please avoid. Should be closed down

Called the GP upon advise of 111 as experienced a medical emergency the night before. Receptionist said she didn't understand why I was calling if I feel fine now. When I did manage to speak with a doctor he managed to diagnose me before hearing my symptoms - apparently he is a magician and said I was putting 1 and 1 together a making 5. Very empathetic. Every experience I have had with these doctors has been bad. Not helpful or caring at all and would avoid at all costs of you value your health
