On the 5th April had a 9.30 AM phone appointment with a mental health nurse for depression and anger problems! I was waiting by my phone ready at 9.25 and at about 9.35 had to use the toilet the phone rang at 9.37 and by the time I got from the toilet they ended the appointment call. I then spent nearly 4 minutes calling back and listening to a very long option message which was no help at all, at 73 years old I can't rush around very well anymore and a courtesy call back would help not everybody carries their phone with them everywhere!! This is not the fist time I have had this happen to me in the short time I have been with The bay in general a good practice and I know that its busy but definitely has to improve on phone side of things don't just end a call quickly try again at least once more for the sake of the patient thats why they work there helping patients not ignoring them

Phoned gp about my sons ears got a ring back gp told my husband that he can go to chemist now and they will check his ears.did this was told by pharmacy that he cannot as he is older then 17 years of age and that the gp has not read the spectisfercations.i cannot believe that you can't get a appointment to see gp so by now my son has probably got a infection that is causing him to have ear ache.you dread being ill as you have no chance of getting a appointment with out waiting to get the receptionist and if you work what do you do or wait in all day for ring back that sometimes don't happen very dissapointed or go on econsult and get email back 3 days later by that time you have become worse what is happening

Dear Patient Thank you for your feedback, Please accept our apologies for your recent poor experience. This is a new service and unfortuantely it sounds like there has been a misunderstanding regarding the age limits. I will remind all staff to check for age linits prior to referring to the Pharmacy. Please contact us again if you have not managed to arrane an appointment.

i did an econsult this morning after not being able to speak to anyone at 8.00 am. i got a reply to say that you are unable to book or amend appointments from an eConsult. The wording on the website says that the eConsult would be triaged and an appointment either face to face or telephone etc would be offered if required. Do you realise how contradictory this is and not helpful at all.

Can't even send my prescription when desperately needed. After phoning the surgery several times and being told it will be, my prescription would be sent through to the pharmacy, the pharmacy phone in several times and still no prescription
