Embarrassing I missed a phone call appointment (was told it could be anytime on the given day) it was twice before 845am and yet I got a threatening letter saying I would be removed as a patient

  2. Review titled They just don't communicate or listen these days

I rang the practice after the online chemist I normally use informed me that they were out of stock of one of the items on my prescription so I was unable to obtain a barcode to pick the item up from a local pharmacy. I explained this to the receptionist who was very nice and she said she would speak to the doctor about printing a prescription off for me to collect from the surgery. I phoned back a day later as instructed to be told yes it was there ready for me to collect. I called in to pick it up to be told it has been sent to the online pharmacy (the one with no stock). What is the point of talking to them when they just completely ignore what you ask. Also I asked to speak to a doctor as I suffer from hay fever and needed something stronger than what can be bought over the counter as I had tried these with no effect and possibly eye drops and was told she would ring me (I understand that perfectly) when she rang she told me to go straight to the surgery as she needed to see me, I was then kept waiting for an hour and when I did finally see her was told she was only a trainee and would need to check with her boss before prescribing me what I needed, she rang later that day to say they had issued a prescription for tablets and nasal spray I don't need nasal spray it's my eyes that is the problem. I don't know what is happening to this practice it used to be great (pre Covid) but since it's ridiculous I received a letter some months back from the hospital about a referral they had received from my GP which I knew nothing about they just seem to think they can do what they like regardless.
