    I have had a nasty virus for a week , l sent a request in at 7 this morning and by 10 l was seeing a doctor! So efficient and good to talk to a doctor about my symptoms!

    Have be visiting the practice fore about the last four months with arthritis in the ankles, sent for x-ray but only on one ankle as it was not worth doing both. referred to physio after a month had not heard anything so went back to see doctor to find out what was happening and to get some stronger pain killers as the pain was getting worse. was told by the doctor the joint was worn out and that they could do nothing as the NHS had no resources, offered me pain killers that i said i could not take as they do not agree with me, doctor told me to take them as they are alright now. pain killers made me ill so had a phone consultation with doctor who said what do you expect me to do about it, eventually gave me some different pain killers but these had the same effect. about two weeks later my wife was at the surgery and asked about the physio referral as had still not heard anything and was told we had to ring up to make an appointment which i had not been told before, was given the number to ring, rung the next day and made an appointment upon arrival was told this was for private treatment only but in so much pain i carried on and paid for four sessions after which the physio said there was no more they could do and to go back to the doctor. got an appointment to see different doctor who was very apologetic for the treatment i had received and said i should be on cortisone injections which he could not do but would get a doctor at Shaftesbury to do it when the appointment came through it had been made with a doctor at Sturminster upon arrival was told he could not do the injections as he could not do injections below the knee and even if he could he could only do one ankle as the other one had not been x-rayed so am now waiting for an appointment which should have been done in the first place. i am a farmer and if i treated my animals the same way as i have been treated by your practice i would have been locked up

    Following tests as a result of indigestion the course of antibiotics has cleared the Helicobacter pylori infection and I feel much better. Less tired and more energy.

    Rang up to sort a problem with a prescription at Sturminster Newton the person I spoke with was abrupt and bordering on rude. Very unexpected as I’ve always received five star treatment there.

    My wife had an appointment with a clinician on 20th Feb 2024 at 2.30pm. My wife was in some pain and was feeling unwell and at times had difficulty in providing clear answers to the questions asked by the clinician in order to establish a diagnosis. Additionally the pain was making her short tempered and rather unreasonable in her demands. In spite of these problems, the clinician did not take exception, and at all times was extremely helpful and patient and polite. Bearing in mind that my wife, presumably, was not the only patient being dealt with that day, I can only admire the calm and forbearance shown by the clinician . Consequently, I would like send my thanks and praise to the staff involved in performing such excellent work

    On two consecutive days, using the Klinik online service I was answered in under two hours and problems100% solved. I boast about Abbey view to my friends who are so envious of the prompt and excellent service all round here, Lovely staff,including friendly and helpful receptionists, and superb medical staff. I am so lucky to have this surgery!

    Had great difficultly contacting the Audiology department at Dorchester for an appointment. Requested help from the practice. They wrote to Dorchester and I quickly had an appointment for the following week.

    I was appalled by the results of a survey which only reflected the views of just over a hundred people. I am the envy of all my firends who are astonished at how efficient and brilliant this surgery is. In 4 months as an elderly patient I have used Klinik online, had a phone call within hours and a face to face appointment either the same day or the next day. All members of staff here are excellent and all my problems have been solved. What more could you ask for?!!

    Mum is housebound, my father rang asking for someone to attend the house to see mum, thank you for sending a member of the clinical team to see her so promptly. The initial telephone contact with the practice member of staff was very helpful and supportive and the attending clinical team member was very professional. Thank you.
