Review titled Great practice

I had an ongoing condition since 2016 but was with a different surgery. I had been going to the previous GP so often but nothing changed. I was referred to this surgery, was seen by a GP who listened to my concerns and issues and worked with what he too could see. I am grateful and proud to say that I am having surgery because of this GP to help resolve my issues. I would recommend this surgery to others. Very friendly, supportive, professional and they actually listened.

Review titled Supportive

I can’t fault the doctor for the support shown in what continues to be a difficult health journey. She has provided me with information regarding the potential diagnosis. Overall a positive experience- my only concern is not knowing what the next steps are & how long my referral will take.

“Fantastic nursing team” as the header Unfortunately it’s nearly impossible to get an appointment at the surgery however when I did get an appointment with a nurse it was a very good experience. I had attended for a dressing and felt very uncomfortable due to the nurse looking rather young and thought she was a trainee and it was my first initial dressing change so I was nervous as it is but her outstanding knowledge and her professionalism blew me away and how she made me feel comfortable I was very impressed** I booked all my future appointments with her and didn’t regret my decision. Well done.

Review titled Worst practice in luton

I am currently on day 4 of ringing the gp surgery with B I S C O T G R O U P P R A C T I C E. Their policy is to call at 8am to book A N Y appointment. You will call at 8am be told there is high call volume and to use to call back system. You will wait over an hour for this call to come and you will be told there are N O available appointments today. This is day 4 of calling at 8am on the dot and still unsuccessful in being able to see a gp or nurse. I have called 111 every day who have notified B I S C O T G R O U P P R A C T I C E to call me back with an appointment. This has been happening since last week I am now very poorly with what was simple tonsillitis. And will now have to attend the accident and emergency services at Luton and Dunstable hospital to access the emergency gp as I will N O T be call back by my gp practice which is being instructed to do so by nhs service 111. Worst doctors surgery in Luton and surrounding areas and I have attended my fair share growing up and living in Luton.

Once I got through the long queue process, the receptionist was lovely and helpful and tried to deal with my query the best she can. The doctor was very good and professional and explained everything well. The doctor called at a convenient time as I requested.

Review titled Very basic gp
Rated 2 stars out of 5

Sadly the overall vibe of the gp isn’t that great, it’s near impossible to get an appointment but I had my baby’s immunisation. The first round went great, had an amazing nurse who was so gentle with my baby and reassured me and educated me about the shots and drops, being a first time mum that was exactly needed. She was so kind and open . Second round I had a different nurse who was terrible and so condescending in her tone she made my baby cry and bleed so much more than happened previously. Her attitude was terrible and cold. I was so upset with how the appointment went I contacted the practice to change my child’s last round of injections to another location within the practice in order to be seen by the first nurse I saw. It was so lovely to see her again, my child didn’t cry at all and was smiling and laughing with her. Absolutely amazing.

Review titled Worst practise

This practise is appalling. You call in at 8am, get put on hold for an hour and then receive the same reply that there are no appointments left. Very unsure as to how within 10 seconds of calling that all appointments are gone. A receptionist advised me to use the online consultation, when I told her every time I use it it says the appointments are gone she told me they open up at 6am and become available so it’s best to try then. Well I woke up at 5:30, made sure I was on it for 6am and no more online consultations were available for the day!! How is this possible? In the same second the online service opens, they are apparently gone. This Gp continues to shock me more and more. When I finally submitted an online consultation on a matter asking for some medical advice and expecting a phone call, I received a text message to an online NHS medical information link as if I do not have google and didn’t google it myself? I wanted to speak to a doctor hence waiting and submitting an online request. After that, I could not get through to anyone again for an appointment so the doctor simply wasted all the time and effort I went through and thought it was ok to just send me a google link to nhs website instead of taking the time to call me and speak to properly. What’s the point in waking up early and stressing yourself out if the doctor will send you something from google that you already did yourself beforehand (obviously). Would not recommend this practise.
