    Can't book a GP appointment neither online nor on the phone to discuss test results. Their website says for a routine appointment you can book online or call the practice: The online system has paused access as they have reached capacity for the day (though it's a routine appointment). And when you call the practice, they direct you to the online system.

    Tried to get an appointment for an infection that needs immediate treatment at 10:30 am but the form for requesting one has shut. I obediently waited until the next day and submitted my online form at 9 am. Got a call at 5:30 pm and didn’t hear my phone and they left a message to call back. I called back 10 minutes later and they did not pick up the phone. This is not the first time the phone lines have been unresponsive despite being “caller number one in the queue”. Why ask me to call back if you’re going to keep me on hold for 30 minutes or more depending on how long it takes me to give up.

    Dear Patient We are sorry that you have had an unsatisfactory experience when trying to contact us. I have checked our call log for the day and can see that some callers were waiting for about 18 minutes when calling us in the evening on the 8th May. We have a new phone system and monitor call wait times closely. We aim to ensure that even during busy periods calls are picked up within ten minutes. This was clearly not your experience on this day and we apologise for this. We trust that the issue you mention has now been dealt with by a clinician. However if there any outstanding issues one of our managers will always be happy to speak to you personally if you contact the practice.     I have recently been feeling unwell with flu like symptoms. I really needed to speak to a gp. The online consultation form has not been working all of this week. When I called the receptionist had a terrible attitude, all she kept saying was call tomorrow, she didn't give a dame, even when I explained who I was feeling. You can ask the gp to call someone back but you choose not to!! This is now 5 days that I was not able to go online, now its the weekend. The GPS are great but please do yourself a favour and change some of the receptionist they are letting you down. I have gone into the surgery many times to be left standing while they gossip. Disgusting behaviour.

    Dear Patient We are sorry that you have had an unsatisfactory experience with our online system. The online consultation system is working. However, in line with many other practices, due to pressures on the system and for safety reasons we have had to introduce a cap on the number of patients we are able to consult with each day. There are generally over 100 e-consultations made available every day between Monday and Friday. We are always happy to speak to you personally if you are continuing to have problems getting an appointment please call and arrange to speak to myself or our reception manager.     This must be the worst gp practice ever. Impossible to speak or make an appointment with the doctor. Done an online consultation with was informed that can take two days for the doctor to call you. Had a text in the evening from the practice stating the doctor will call me on 7:30 pm. No one called, and I am not holding my breath for a call tomorrow. This was my family GP practice since I was a baby. Everyone moved due to poor service. Looks like I will be doing the same!!

    It’s hard to get an appointment. When you get an appointment then GP is late to see but over 55 minutes!!! And receptionist kept asking to be patients. !!!!

    They never pick up the phone. A lot of attitude from the front team. They’re all way too comfortable and forget to be professional. Eventually I walked in to book my appointment. The doctors are good but the reception team is easily replaceable with an online system.

    I called to make an appointment with a doctor as the online website advised me speak to the surgery as they could not help. It said urgently. I spoke to the receptionist who asked more question than a doctor would and then he informed me that he would put me on the waiting list and to expect a call maybe today or tomorrow. I had to ask him how would he enter me on the waiting list when he didnt ask me my name or phone number. He says I forgot. Most of the receptions are plain insolent and this is a perfect example. He did not even apologise. Just said I will transfer the notes to your name. When I repeated he said I forgot, give me your date of birth.

    I just want to thank all of the staff at Blithehale. I have had a challenging year with my health. You have always been there. You are kind, efficient and listen. I know things are hard in the NHS, but I have never felt anything but safe and cared for. I wish you all well for the festive season and the New Year.
