    I was discharged from hospital with recommendation to ring doctors to get them to refer me to bowel clinic. On the action for GP states "please review her bowel and refer appropriately ". I spoke to practice admin team who read from her note from hospital so they had received copy from hospital. She also went through medication. She could not give me appointment so put me through to reception. This was 9.30am. I was told Dr wants to review letter/discharge and would call. I rang at 12 and was told he still looking and if not heard anything ring again. I rang again at 2.54 and was told I was on Dr list this afternoon and he would call me. I rang again at 5.26 as they close at 6pm. I was told he was running behind my apt was 5.23 but he would definitely ring me. I have just received a message stating they have not received the letter. But they had at 9.30am and would contact me when they do. Absolute disgusting behaviour and another night of bowel concerns. This is the 2nd time I have had dreadful experience.

    Awaiting MRI since May 2024. Told today the referral cancelled as GP did not do correct referral process. How can this be. Frimley hospital stated a letter was sent the day after referral but GP practice state nothing uploaded on my file . They state not received. This problem has been ongoing. No physio follow up. An injection scheduled for this Wednesday not with ultrasound guideance. I believe it wrong to have an injection when no firm diagnosis been made. If I hadnt rung on Friday I would still be non the wiser.

We are very happy to discuss your care pathways directly with you. For information, like other GP practices, we do not have ultrasound guided injections as a service at our practice. The musculoskeletal clinician giving the injection you mention will give a full consultation at the time of your appointment.     My last appointment was for a blood test. The nurse was very professional, but chatty as well. A very good practice.

    Have now been trying to make an doctors appointment for the last 4 weeks. Always told that there are no avalible slots to been seen and also would have to visit a different practice?? I just hope this lump in my arm from Covid vaccinations isn't serious but hey how am I going to find out when I cannot even see my GP.

    I went to give blood this morning after checking my appointment on Wednesday the woman at the desk says 9-30 sat morning I got there at 09-20 and the unhelpful woman on the desk said my appointment was for 9-20am and cause it was 9-25 she said wouldn’t be seen now I was absolutely mad with her as this has wasted my time and only takes about 5 mins to take blood I will be looking for a new surgery as the women you have on the counters there are useless Please do not register with this useless practice

    Dear Mr Breen Thank you for taking the time to add a review for our practice and we are sorry that we fell below your expectations this time. We understand your frustration and disappointment regarding your recent experience when you were unable to be seen for your appointment and the misunderstanding of the timing of your booked time. We would like to assure you that our receptionist did communicate your arrival to the nurse through our internal messaging system, which is standard procedure if there is a query with a patient arrival. The nurse reviewed her schedule to try and accommodate you quickly but due to her existing workload and the tight scheduling of appointments this was not immediately possible as it would have compromised the care of another patient, who had arrived. The nurses both had a long patient appointments so could not break off to take your bloods. Our Saturday clinics do run to a very tight schedule, so we unfortunately cannot usually be as flexible as we may be able to during the week. On checking our systems we see that a text reminder was sent out automatically to you the day before, which included the appointment time. Should you not be receiving these texts, would you be kind enough to re-confirm your mobile number to us. We can easily change the number if you have a new one. We also note that we offered you a later appointment that day. Once again, we apologize for any distress this situation has caused you. Our team is dedicated to providing you with the highest quality care and support and of course will always try and accommodate a patient if we can. We are happy to meet with you to discuss this further should you wish. Regards Sarah

    Absolutely terrible have has missed informed appointments. Refusal for appointments and lies about what has been communicated in the consultation. Doctor huffed and puffed because of a question I asked.receptionists are rude beyond belief. Spoke to the operations manager who was even worse. I would advise anyone to go anywhere else getting appointments is impossible.

    I wish this was my doctor's practice. It is my mother's and having had to step up and help sort out her life and health in the last year, I have had the delight of dealing with this practice. They have guided me through the processes. You know where you are in the queue on the phone, etc. It is great. If anyone has a complaint, they should try other practices which maybe have more patients and much less time to deal with people. My only fear is the car park as my car is large ! Admin team is great, always helpful, thank you.

    I have had many issues and concerns to deal with for a patient in Border surgery: I am their cousin & Power of Attorney; the staff have been amazing, advising me, organising the next steps to ensure this patient is reviewed, appointments are made, and relieving me of all the stress that I had because I had no help; Brilliant, efficient, caring.

    I have been with this surgery about 4 years now. They used to be really good but recently I have found it impossible to get an appointment. I have been trying for over a week to book a non urgent future appointment but each day I have phoned there have been nome available, not even for months in the future. I was advised to look at booking online, which was near impossible to register to do, but when I finally managed it I have also been met each day with no appointments. I was told to phone at 8am every day until appointments are made available. But they’re own phone line advises you to phone after 9am. Even if you do phone at 8am you are still told it’s emergency appointments only that they are taking and told to phone back the next day or week. Apparently non urgent appointments are released for on the day on Tuesdays and this would be my best chance of an appointment, not much use when I can’t do Tuesdays but this is the only day i’ll be able to get an appointment. Why is it so impossible just to book a consultation with any doctor at any point in the future for something non urgent but I do need to see a doctor. It never used to be like this, I used to sing the praises of this surgery but these days i’m fed up.

As background, like all GP practices we are under extreme pressure and are working very hard to try and ensure patients can access GP care. We also have a strong team of other clinical staff, who may be able to assist. Our online appointments do release daily but are booked up quickly due to high demand. We are also still looking for an additional GP to give additional capacity. Our future appointments are usually a maximum of 4 weeks advance bookable, hence you would not be able to book anything months in advance. Please do contact us so we can assist further.     After fairly recently moving from up North where the practise was awful, the move to Border Practise has been seamless. I never have issues getting through, reception are always friendly and helpful! Doctors have always been great whether a telephone, routine or emergency appointment. Even my little boy doesn’t dread the doctors like he used to, due to the welcoming atmosphere. :)
