I had a blood test Friday & received this text message on Monday. "Your blood tests show your vitamin D levels are a little low. Please purchase some replacement over the counter from the pharmacy & rebook a blood test in 4 months. No readings are shown, not even on nhs app. Every one is asking what those reading levels are.

Trying to get an appointment at this doctors is impossible, but when you do the waiting room is empty. They advise us to do an e consult and then you will be advised if you either will get a call back from the doctors or an appointment. Just had a text back from the doctors advising me that my appointment by telephone call will be on 9/10/3023, it’s a joke I will probably be better by then, as it’s nearly three weeks away. Called the doctors surgery to make sure this is correct and the receptionist, who was not interested what so ever has put me on a call back for today?? Why keep telling us that there are no appointments yet there obviously is? No wonder 111 is called a lot and A&E is really busy as it feels like our doctors don’t really care anymore. Will wait to see if I get a call.

Review titled Great Service

I have been experiencing some symptoms which I associated with a medication that I have been taking - so, I emailed the practice. I was contacted quite quickly after by a very knowledgeable member of staff. She discussed the symptoms, appreciated my concerns and explained the options available to me. We agreed on a plan and I’m really happy with what has been agreed. I cannot complain about this Gp / Patient interaction

Review titled Careless people in business of care

We moved into new development during Covid and registered with the practice as it was closer to home. I have type 2 diabetes and there is hardly any check-up for me and there is hardly an occasion when I was given medicine on time. As a gown man, I can live with these dysfunctionalities. But for almost a month we have been calling the surgery for my daughter who has a cough with rattling sounds and constantly getting fever. Our calls so far could not get any further than reception, and we get the same message "No appointment calls us back". Today we requested a senior person with the responsibility to answer our queries. As this is an ongoing issue and we are concerned that giving her painkillers on a long-term basis could affect her kidney/liver. We also highlight that this could be a sign of leukaemia, however, the surgery has not responded to our appeals. We are seriously concerned because it concerns the health of a 4-year-old. NHS should investigate and take appropriate action to stop such behaviour.

Review titled Very disappointed

I called the surgery this afternoon as my daughter is really unwell. Temp of over 38.8, white purelant fowl smelling spots in her throat. Unable to swallow to the extent that fluid intake was difficult. I called this practice and was told that there was no capacity and that I would have to call 111 or do a 111 online request. Although I understand the pressure that is upon the NHS fully, I was very sad to hear that this surgery could not even have the capacity to even issue some antibiotics which my daughter so clearly needed. I am lucky enough that I work at another practice and was able to ask for some help from my colleagues. My daughter has the antibiotics that she so needed. I am grateful and very lucky that I had my practice to turn to. However, I am feeling so very sad that many people must have been told that there was no capacity for them and I feel extremely concerned.
