My daughter has on going pain, we called and the receptionist was able to get her in to see a dr who she had never seen before. Dr H (lovely lady) actually took her time to look at her history and listen to her concerns. She really did make me feel like she was listening to my daughter. I can’t remember the last time I had been the GP and they actually took their time. I think she was really helpful and if you ever have an appt with her you’ll know exactly what I mean as all other appointments have just issued painkillers and off you go. Dr H actually took the time to explain and made a referral for which my daughter has been asking for. She actually listens to the patient :)

I don't use the facilities much but the times I've needed assistance they've always managed to get me in within 2-3 days and always assisted accordingly. After a fractured bone recently they've done everything they can to ensure a positive outcome, providing physio and the correct rehabilitation to get back to normality. The times I've required assistance the surgery have ensured a positive outcome. I'm more than happy with the service provided.

Went to see nurse practitioner on Wednesday I said I felt like I was her time as I didn't feel I should be there. She was so understanding patient and lovely to talk to.Everytime I've had to ring the sugery which thank goodness isn't often everyone as been really helpful.

Doctor did not call when called early morning for telephone consultation. Receptionist said she would remind him. Still no call. Happened twice in 3 weeks. Shocking service

Joined this surgery. 4 weeks ago. Made an initial appointment. That was cancelled because of sickness. Re booked. waited another 2 weeks and same as before cancelled within 18hrs of the appointment. I am a diabetic and need to know that I can rely on my doctor. Luckily my previous doctor has agreed to help. Will find another surgery.

You have to call in the morning and your call joins a queue. 9 times out of 10 the queue is full so you can't even stay on the line. I have called 40 times in one morning trying to get into the queue. If you get into the queue, it can take 30 minutes or so to get an answer. When you finally speak to someone they have closed triage because it is now after 11 am. If a doctor does call back they never want to see you in person. You tell them your symptoms, they arrange for bloods/samples to be tested. You then have to call back for results when a receptionist tells you that the tests were clear, no further action required. You say, 'but I still have these distressing symptoms ' and you're told to call again the following day to go the the whole charade again....awful service. What exactly are GPS being paid for right now? Making phone calls, and brief ones at that.
