   I was seen by a paramedic in the night as I was in excruciating lower back pain, muscle spasm. He arranged for an urgent call from my GP for a prescription of Codeine. Unfortunately I couldn’t reach my phone to answer the call from the receptionist and my husband quickly rang back but was told the Dr was called away. I understand this of course, I am not urgent, just in horrible pain but was told no other appointment was available today, I only needed a prescription, surely a 5 minute talk could be offered from another Dr! A sad state of affairs,
