There is a lot of negativity around at the moment but my experience with Church Street today was so positive, I was overwhelmed. I filled in an online medical request with quite a stressful concern at 1.20p on a Friday afternoon. At 2.20pm I had a call from a lovely receptionist asking if I could get to the surgery for 3pm to see a doctor. I checked in and was called in to see the doctor bang on time and I was welcomed in, listened to and the issue was looked at. The doctor explained everything throughly and in detail and answered any questions I had. I’d expected to face a weekend of anxiety and worry waiting to hear something but instead, I feel relieved and have peace of mind. Every member of staff was fantastic and I’m so grateful!

Took my little boy for his 1year immunisations today. I was already feeling extremely anxious knowing it was 4x injections and my relative couldn’t attend with me due to illness so I also had to bring my daughter along. We had two fantastic nurses who saw to him whilst a HCA held him to get the experience over with quicker, they were absolutely brilliant with him and the Receptionists minded my daughter so she didn’t have to see her brother so upset. Thank you so much, fantastic and caring professionals. One very grateful Mom!

I was concerned about my pulse rate and contacted the surgery help desk mid morning. By 5.30pm an ECG had been taken and I had seen the duty doctor. He had advised that I needed a 24hour ECG recording. I contacted the surgery secretaries a few days later and they arranged a referral to the hospital ECG department

I was seen quickly and my Doctor was lovely, she took lots of time to talk to me and understand my problems. She came across as very caring. Would defiantly recommend this practice.

Lovely lady on the desk was polite and helped me get checked in. I was seen at the time of my appointment. Then my nurse was very informative, helpful and caring. Would be great for them to be recognised of appreciation.

Getting Covid caused my lung condition to become much worse. I was able to speak to or be seen face to face by the same GP 2 or 3 times a week, to monitor my progress. Excellent care, and easily instigated by using their GP Online service. Response the same day. Brilliant care, and so reassuring.
