A member of the college practice has gone above and beyond to help me over the last week, spending hours of her time searching through paperwork to find relvent documents, plus on top of this helping with with my son, can't thank her enough you made my experience so easy.

  2. Review titled Great Practice

I have used College Road Dentist for many years. I cannot praise the practice highly enough. I have recently had my last visit to for implants. Each appointment went smoothly and I was very happy with the final result. If you are considering having implants I wouldn't hesitate to recommend booking a consultation.

  5. Review titled Terrible Practice

Rated 1 star out of 5

by David Shiers - Posted on 14 February 2025

I have had nothing but frustration from this practice. Getting through on the phone is impossible. Econsults usually get an answer the same day but whoever reviews them doesn't seem to read all the information it asks you to provide given the results that they come back with. I keep getting given appointments with 'clinicians' who can't actually deal with the problem I have asked about rather than an actual doctor. The current health issue I have been dealing with has been going on for over four months now with no diagnosis, mainly due to needing to wait a month+ for a blood test to be done at the practice and there is nowhere else I can get one done. Each time I am seen they want another round of blood tests with a months wait. If they had just ordered all the tests at once I might have an answer by now but instead I have been off work and am facing unemployment due to their constant delays. Today after multiple months of delays I did an Econsult for a follow up appointment. They offered me an appointment six weeks away to discuss the next steps. While I am struggling to even do basic living activities around the house and can't work. This place is an absolute joke of a practice.

  6. Review titled Brilliant patient care

Rated 3 stars out of 5

    by Mrs C A Witt - Posted on 25 February 2025

After a major mix up with a prescription that was issued for my mum, the care navigator working that day was superb. She went above and beyond to ensure mums prescription was correct and issued very quickly. She took a lot of pressure and worry off of myself and my mum. Thank you. You are a star and an asset to College Practice.

  7. Review titled Misleading and delay of treatment

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Lucyna Rogala - Posted on 15 January 2025

I have booked an urgent appointment for the 3rd of January. On my way to the appointment I received miss call from the GP practice which I could not answer at that time. When we got there I tried to check in on the self check-in screen that is placed at the entrance. The message I received in response after registering was that "it seems there was a problem with your appointment". I went to the reception to let them know that I arrived for my appointment. The receptionist told me that my appointment was meant to be as telephone consultation. I told that lady that this was a misunderstanding because it was clearly written in the response from the GP practice that my appointment was booked for that time and it was a face to face appointment with the doctor. I showed confirmation of the type of appointment. Unfortunately I was ignored by the receptionist. Even though the evidence was shown, this lady still tried convinced me that the appointment was supposed to be a telephone consultation. Finally after all the unnecessary arguments she asks me if I want to see the clinician today here on site. She told us to take sit in the waiting area we were waiting for 15-20min then I hear someone called me in . Unfortunately, to my surprise, it was not the doctor I had an appointment with, but a pharmacist. When it comes to summarizing my experience, I will say it straight: I have never encountered such great incompetence and lack of organization on the part of a corporation that should set an example and serve people.

  8. Review titled Need more trained menopause specialists

Rated 3 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 15 January 2025

Saw a nurse at the Barming Surgery, for a HRT review. I had filled out an e-consult requesting that I be put back on a bio-identical form of progesterone rather than synthetic which they had switched me to during a shortage. The nurse that I saw didn’t seem to have looked at my notes at all before my appointment and was questioning why I was there even though the surgery arranged the appointment. She then questioned why I was on HRT and said that I shouldn’t be on patches and tablets! When I answered and explained that I should be on both forms she then said she would have to refer me back to the consultant who suggested I go on HRT in the first place. When I queried why, she didn’t seem to like that and basically said she wasn’t comfortable with changing my progesterone in a very defensive tone. Why give me an appointment with someone who doesn’t understand menopause and is not comfortable altering prescriptions? I managed to find the original recommendation letter from 2.5 years ago and she changed her manner then suddenly said I could have a 3 month prescription. The reason that I had to go for a private consultation in the first place was because the surgery would not acknowledge peri-menopause. It would help if more GP’s were trained in this area, and actually gave appointments with the relevant trained staff rather than those who don’t have the knowledge or the confidence to prescribe vital medicine.

I had to go drop my daughters sample off today just before 1pm and the reception was kind and he explained exactly what I had to do and how to do it correctly I didn’t feel rushed or asif I was taking up to much time and once I had gone and done what he said when I went back a different receptionist was there but one the first man had finished with his person he lent over and helped my receptionist explaining what I had done Might seem silly but he made me feel calm and at ease Very great customer service and communication So thank you
