Review titled Passive aggressive manner
Rated 3 stars out of 5
by Eleni - Posted on 05 October 2024
My experience with them so far is mixed. Some brilliant GPs who will listen and treat you with respect. Saying that, I have seen one GP who was being very passive aggressive as he couldn't understand my accent (no native English speaker here). I have been begging them to put on the system that I work in special education and it is very difficult sometimes to take a whole day off for 10 min telephone appointment, begging them to give me an after school slot, the response was that they can't do anything about that as it is my problem, again a very passive aggressive receptionist. Recently I was invited, I repeat, invited for the Flu vaccine and the practitioner again asking me with the same attitude mentioned above why I'm there. I responded because I was invited. Asking me again how old I am and why I'm having the flu vaccine. Asking a few people who had the flu and COVID Vaccine the same day, none had to answer these questions. Of course I was denied the COVID vaccine, no explanation why. They have poster everywhere to respect them and be mindful, but they are not giving the same respect to their patients.

Review titled I was held up and missed my appointment
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Doreen - Posted on 20 September 2024
I was running late for an appointment and got there dead at appointment start. I was running late due to a sleep issue which was what my appointment was about. When I got there my appointment was at The Drayton Surgery. They asked me how quickly I could get there and I said I can get a taxi. Before I could even look at how long it would have taken me to get there, she typed on the computer and told me they can’t see you now. I rescheduled for Friday and asked if there were any other appointments earlier than that she said no. I left there at 10:08. 8 minutes of my time wasted I went to The Drayton Surgery and asked how long I was allowed to be late. The lady was a bit rude to me and told me that they’d prefer us not to be late with a sarcastic tone and smile. I was told 10mins (previously my fiancé was told 15). I then told them how I was held up at wooton street and told I couldn’t come because I’d be too late even though it would have only taken me 5 minutes to get there. This lady managed to magic an appointment on the Tuesday, 3 days earlier. She then told me to try and always be 10 minutes early when I had already told her I was going to see the dr due to a problem with my sleep. I felt this was extremely insensitive and of course I was already upset. I feel as if I was held up on purpose at wooton street so that I missed my appointment and the dr couldn’t see me if I decided to try and go. I am exhausted, upset and have to drag myself through another two 10 hour days of falling asleep at work and risking my job before I can see the Dr again. I also now have to take time off work again to see the dr

Works well with the different options, efficient and direct. My previous appointment was also very in depth and personable, the best I have ever received, with the nurse taking an actual interest with regards to my concern, was very genuine and informative. Thank you

Review titled Superb Nursing Care
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by James Lacey - Posted on 10 September 2024
Had a Scc removed at Dermatology St Mary’s and subsequently referred to Nurses at Drayton Surgery for frequent dressing changes. The care and service I have received has been superb from all 3 Nurses - the system will not allow me to name them - they are brilliant and a credit to the Practice. Thank you to everybody at Drayton Surgery.

The doctor was caring and listened to me but she said she would phone me and hasn’t phoned me yet after one week. It could be the hospital consultant has not got back to her.

I was given some tablet for a infection to find out 6 days later. There should have been 2 types. Went back yesterday to be told they had forgotten them

Review titled Econsult and phone call
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 18 January 2024
I completed an e-consult for a trapped nerve. I was contacted a few hours later by a lovely doctor. She assessed my problem over the phone. She sent a prescription and sent me a sick note. I then got a phone call from a physio and had an assessment. Very quick and professional.

Review titled Very helpful
Rated 5 stars out of 5

Once I get through on the phone they are very helpful. Also, as I am 86, since moving here just over a year ago I am impressed how my health is monitored even when I am not ill.
