In my opinion the practise has failed (repeatedly) to carry out the most basic tasks in a manner that is even close to acceptable. Lost test results, failed to communicate test results, failed to call back when a commitment has been made, failed to prioritise internal communications when a commitment has been made, lack of urgency, lack of empathy, lack of basic care.

I had an extremeley positive experience at The Elms Practice , despite the fact I missed the appointment. It's wonderful to know that even though there was a hiccup, the staff there displayed a caring attitude and were friendly throughout and understanding. They managed to see me a day earlier than expected, we are so often told that "computer says no" that having a person that cares and made a decision to see me was fantastic. This kind of compassionate and understanding behaviour can make a significant difference in a healthcare setting. Thank you for helping a stressed out patient.

We pay for this service in our NI contributions, it isn’t free. Left with my elderly mother who could barely stand while the receptionist did her hair at the front desk on a cold winters day. We rang the bell and was completely ignored! We then finally got in to see a nurse my mother had dizziness and the nurse wasn’t even prepared to check her ears something I thought may have been standard practice, I asked for her to check & the huffing and puffing from the nurse was beyond unprofessional! Wouldn’t recommend for elderly patience as they really have no time for them!
