Review titled Very unhelpful
Rated 2 stars out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 12 September 2024
Very difficult to get an appointment and even when one is booked they give you a very big window when they try and ring you, and while they ring twice it isn't very useful to be ringing only 4 minutes apart! Then you can't even book an appointment afterwards as they never have anything available. Also while the doctor's are friendly, it feels as though it takes a long time for them to properly refer you to the appropriate services - which is time consuming and frustrating. While I have been a big advocate for the surgery in the past I will definitely look into switching GP's as they only seem to be getting worse.

Review titled An excellent team
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Sean McGrath - Posted on 12 August 2024
Two doctors were closely involved in monitoring my PSA score for 5 years. One doctor urged me to undergo a prostate biopsy in March 2023. Cancer was found to be present but it was contained within the prostate. So I was therefore eligible for the focal therapy treatment. I had this done in July 2023 and the follow up since has shown that the treatment has been successful. I am very grateful to the team at the Evergreen Surgery for keeping me well.

Review titled Impossible to get an on the day appointment!
Rated 2 stars out of 5
by Wanstead resident - Posted on 03 January 2024
I have been with this practice for 27 years and have always been able to get an appointment when ill, by phoning on the day. In October 2023 I was held in a phone queue for 20+ minutes and when it came to my turn, I was told that all the appointments had gone. Feeling very frustrated, I was advised that i could have gone on line from 07.50am, when all that day’s appointments could be booked. Unfortunately, poised to access the system today at 07.50, there were no face to face appointments shown, nor any phone consultations. Furthermore, the phone line queue was full, so I couldn’t access that. Not that there would have been any point….. doubtless by the time I got through, there would again be no appointments left! In October, I was given the number of the Loxford Clinic as an alternative. What is the point in having a local Practice, if you can never access it when you are ill? The staff and GPs are all wonderful, but my recent experience has tarnished my view I’m afraid. Oh and they welcome new registrations- good luck with that….

Review titled Rigid rules that do not match the NHS site
Rated 2 stars out of 5
by Pat Everett - Posted on 12 December 2022
Moved home to be closer as the crow flies and NHS site said this was a choice, but practice told me to find another surgery having been with them for over 10 years…very disappointed at 89 having to change doctors. My new address is one mile from the practice. My old address was 1.1 miles away.
