Review titled Worst GP service
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 17 October 2024
Inaccessible lwcel of service from this gp practice. You call to get xray results because the lazy practice fails to update you as they should only to be told a gp will call in 72 hours. The call back reques is always full and you only get back call back after chasing multiple times and logging formal complaint. This gp oractice does not care about patients, they are aware im popping up to 12 pain killers a day since December 2023 and yet they fail to help me, you literally have to beg for an appointment further testing, I'm now resorting to a private fully body mri. Whilst they can't deal with existing patients, they have the capacity to take on new patients with their continous advertisement.

Review titled A huge Thank You
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Catherine Desmond - Posted on 07 September 2024
I had not recieved my medication and was in a lot of pain for a few days. When i rang the Surgery i was impatient with the Receptionist I apologised but my tone was angry..Later I collected it from the chemist. During the evening and well after Surgery hours i recieved a call from the receptionist to find out how i was and had I recieved the medication, her careing and lovely voice came as i was feeling very down and alone, sadly, the emotions pain can often make..I want to say a huge Thank You with a hug, to that Caring female, you cheered me up, made me smile and made me realise just how fortunate I am to be registered with this Surgery and recieving the most wonderful care over many years..Thank You All, but, specially to the kind and Caring Receptionist whose phone call lit up my day x

Review titled Very irresponsible
Rated 1 star out of 5

This is one of the worse GP surgery I have ever come across in London. I tried to register my children and send few urgent emails under the safeguarding section and still no response. This surgery should get shut down as they don’t even care about people safety. I would love to know who is the responsible person of their admin and who have hired him/her as they way too slow to respond on emails.

Review titled Amazing care from this practice -
Rated 5 stars out of 5

I would like to share my experience of the nursing team at florence road. They are exemplary nurses - thorough, kind, brilliant at what they do and very human and patient. I have had three health concerns to manage recently and have been seen by two nurses at the practice about these concerns. , within hours of putting a request on askmygp. I have been so impressed - they have both been so knowledgeable and able to assess my symptoms and prescribe, diagnose and advise appropriately. Thank you. You are doing an amazing job

Review titled "Accept new patients" yet unable to serve the current ones!
Rated 1 star out of 5

As an existing patient who regularly finds the AskMyGP online system "Closed for the day due to unprecedented demand" at 10am because "the surgery has reached capacity for the day" (again, this happens *all the time*) - how are you allowed to "Accept new patients" on the NHS website???

Review titled Problem to speak to gp
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 11 January 2024
I try to send a message through,,,,ask my Gp,,, but was offline? Very rude receptionist told me that my usual dr is not working ,,,,but on ask my Gp it’s says that he is working until 5 pm. I try to send message at 1.30. This is absolutely unacceptable as the surgery is open until 6pm. You want us to phone 111 all the time we not well? We need help from Gp. Ask my Gp is only working in the morning,,,,why we can’t send message in the afternoon? We never see our Gp,,,always different one. It’s very difficult time for us too,,,not only for the NHS.

Review titled They lost all touch - purely for the money
Rated 1 star out of 5

Since they've started using the online booking system AskMyGP I feel I have to go through every hoop possible to get attention. Right now you can only choose between "It's massively urgent - then call 111" or "It's fine I can wait for 7 days to hear back from my GP", which effectively means if it's anything more urgent than getting a referral you are effectively deffered to A&E, whom are already massively overloaded. This policy only helps the GP putting additional undue burden on the emergency services, who should only deal with emergencies. What kind of surgery can only give you an answer within 7 days??? Also, once you do make a query, you receive an automated response saying "the surgery is closed, we'll deal with your request whenever we come online". Which means essentially another way to say go get help elsewhere. They do eventually respond, which means they are not really offline, but use that as a way to just push patients further and further away. This used to be a nice, compassionate and people-oriented surgery, now it's an automated system which eventually might send you a response, or not. They lost all human touch! If you can't cope with the number of patients, then stop taking on more patients! I get that you make money for more and more patients you have signed up with you, but it's at the cost of the quality of service you are providing!!! Cut on patients and provide a correct level of service!!! Seriously frustrated.

Efficient medical staff Reception staff can be brusque .Ask my GP good service.Routine appointments usually take 2 to 3 weeks but surgery rarely has more than 2 people waiting. All has changed since partner retired . Everything seems to be required to do on line as phone is always busy

Review titled Always excellent
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by AJB Orr Ewing - Posted on 01 November 2023
This is a model General Practice. I have been a patient for 45+ years. Helpful receptionists. I needed to pay online for parking with no available WiFi connection. The receptionist gave me access. The doctors, nurses, and pharmacists, are uniformly professional and caring. They use “Ask my GP”. This online service saves time, enables rapid triage, and rapid responses online or by phone. Other GPs please note!

Review titled Absolutely brilliant!

Rang the gp this morning with chest and ear infection. The doctor rang me back within the hour and prescribed medication sent directly to my chemist. They are so efficient! Best surgery in West London. And this is not a one off. They are always good.
