   I've been trying to book an appointment for my partner many times, receptionists say they don't book appointments over the phone any more and they direct patients to online portal. But more often than not the portal is not working or there is no option on the list to select your problem. When I mentioned this to the receptionists she kept insisting that they don't book appointment on the phone and denied booking an appointment over the phone. I do realise that receptionists do a lot and that NHS is trying to ease off their workload by using self service but when that self service is down I expect receptionists to book an appointment over the phone. Very bad experience with this GP surgery
