At 8.05 this morning I tried the recently added online booking system for your surgery. I received the standard reply of “we shall respond within 2 days”. I accepted that as I was not an urgent case. However within 20 minutes I received an appointment with a Doctor for 9.20 the same day. I also received a telephone call to enquire whether I could make the appointment at such short notice. I said yes and the appointment was successfully completed. I don’t imagine that could happen every time but the fact that it worked perfectly once, means there are chances it can happen more and more times. Bearing in mind that the old alternative was to try ringing at 8.00am and being 10th, 20th or 30th in the queue waiting for a response, the new system is far less frustrating. My thanks to all the staff at the Surgery.

Since I have new doctors at the surgery,I feel extremely happy and safe.I got diagnosed with underlying issues,I am on the way to get the right medication and tests. I have seen different doctors,all of them was very kind,listening my actual problem and they were very professional in every single way.Listened my chest to make sure my lungs are fine. I am very grateful and happy to have amazing doctors like them.

Impossible to get an appointment when you need one, been ill for a week, probably need antibiotics and also need a sick note for work but have been unable to get through to book an appointment despite trying for two days, have rung over 500 times (not a guess) but can’t even get in the call queue. And we wonder why everyone ends up at a&e

I'm returning to this practise as the only gripe I had was their appointment rules. If one is missed 3 times in a year then you're removed. My experience was about this issue and left before I was removed and received a warning letter. Other than that, I was always able to make an appointment and the advice was good. During the pandemic staff were rude and unhelpful and I have been told that's changed now. My current surgery is ridiculous. Nobody can make an appointment online, after 2 hours still no appointment on the phone. 111 service is at full capacity, so short of waiting for hours at urgent care, there's noone to help me, which causes anxiety, quite understandably. I want to get better, not feel worse!? In this respect The Grove is better.
