Been having gastro problems for over five years. Nothing is ever diagnosed. Can only get telephone appointments and was told by hospital yesterday to contact the surgery. I did. To be told I had to call back at 8am this morning. I get through to the automated system, press 1 as requested and the call ends. Just an error, you think, dear reader? No, it's happened ten times in a row. I'll not be able to speak to a doctor now.

Used to be able to see a Doctor - now after COVID you have to call every day at 8am (and cant get through) just to get an appointment which is nearly impossible. they seem to have taken advantage of COVID to restrict access - staff on reception do their best but it is just awful trying to get any help. 8am as well when you are working or have kids is impossible - the whole approach has gone backwards and is geared around the system and not the patient.
