    Rang this morning at 8am as per policy for on the day appointment Got told will receive a call back Nearly an hour later get a call to say no appointments available for today and no one to callback. No physical appointments for tomorrow either can only give me a telephone appointment. Why is the GP practice even available if they cannot see patients that need to be seen. Iv been to th pharmacist tried everything over counter and got told to contact GP yet here I am unable to see one!!!! No form of care or understanding just a measly well if you want to be seen today ring 111. Absolutely gobsmacked by the service!

    Thank you for taking the time to leave an anonymous review regarding The Healthcare Centre of which we acknowledge receipt. We are sorry to hear that you are disappointed with our appointment system. Unfortunately, we have had a doctor call in sick today and therefore this has impacted on the amount of on the day appointments we have available. We can only presume from your review that you were on the appointment list of the doctor who called in sick at approximately 8:50am this morning. This does have an impact on our weekly schedule until we either source cover or are aware of the doctors return to work date. We do have a range of appointments available pre-bookable, face to face, telephone but if you have stated that you need to be seen that day, and our Doctors are full to capacity the correct advice is for you to call NHS 111 as they triage you for clinical urgency. We are unable to compromise patient safety and continue to add to our Doctors lists for the day once we are at capacity. We are currently working very hard to improve access and try to ensure that urgent appointments are not being used for non-urgent matters. If you wish to discuss this matter further or offer any improvement suggestions, please contact our Office Manager to discuss this further. Thank you once again for your review.     I called on Friday morning for an appointment with a GP and was told they were booked up, I need to try again on Monday. I expect if I call back on Monday, the same thing could happen again and they'll be booked up. I explained it was fairly urgent and couldn't wait until Monday so was told to call 111. Very poor service

Unfortunately, you have not stated what time you have called but I can clarify that our appointment lines open at 8.00am and appointments will book up quickly. We do have a range of appointments available pre-bookable, face to face, telephone but if you have stated that it is urgent for that day and our Doctors are full to capacity the correct advice is for you to call NHS 111 as they triage you for clinical urgency.
